It is intrinsic to men the need to worship God. Even in places unreached by the Word, the people living there feel there is something greater (Psalm 19.1) and, because they do not know the Lord, they bow before a tree, a river or another object, trying to revere the Creator or asking for help in times of need. They do not know that no one comes to the Father without Jesus (John 14.6).

This is another reason why we need to preach the Gospel. Without the knowledge of Truth there is no way to break free from the enemy. Good heart has never led anywhere and has never saved anyone. Claiming that one must believe something is a lie. Without the revelation of the Word, one tries to reach God in vain. When one creates his own god, he is provoking the Lord, even if he is unaware of it (Isaiah 42.8).

Wherever the Truth is unknown, you will find all types of demonic manifestations and oppression. There is no other name but Jesus that is able to free from the oppression or forgive. Without the faith in Christ, no one can be delivered from sin, not even the priests of the many religions in the world. The Gospel is for those who truly want to be delivered from the power of evil, because it is the power of God (1Corinthians 1.18).

Our God is in Heaven, in a world of perfection, from where he reigns and sends His power to give meaning to life. Because they lack the fear of the Almighty, people are corrupted and are not aware they are running towards destruction. However, when we preach the message of the cross, we give them the opportunity of being delivered from their oppression.

He will do all He pleases, giving human kind the opportunity of knowing and loving Him. There is no way to keep Him from doing His holy and perfect will. Those who apply themselves and obey the Lord’s commands discover what happiness truly is. Why go against the plans of the Most High, when it is so easy to walk with Him and have His favor? Change your life!

The gods of the nations are man-made, powerless to those who have crossed the spiritual Jordan (Joshua 1.10-13), who are now part of the people of God. Idles are lifeless, but behind them there is a deceiving spirit, who brings suffering to those who put their trust in it (Psalm 115.4-8). As for the Lord, He is always ready to receive those who love righteousness. He is holy and He works mercy and truth.

Scripture warns us about a curse that befalls those who practice idolatry. They will become like those statues. Believe what the Bible says so that you can be free from evil and, when evil comes and surrounds you, reject it in Jesus’ Name.
