But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. John 10.26

Many times, we have accused people of not believing in God. However, truly believing in the Lord is only possible for those who are His sheep. Before we accuse people, we must examine if we have helped them to grow in the faith and to do the Father’s will. Besides, we must see if we have fought in our prayers like Paul did for the Colossians and for all who had not known him (Colossians 2:1).

Many people’s great mistake is not to listen to the voice of the Most High. Even being certain that the Father spoke to them, they do not pay attention to Him. Now, the voice of the Lord is heard over many waters (Psalm 29:3) – the sermons of the Word of God. It is powerful to bring to light something that will be of much benefit to us. This divine voice is majestic and works to fulfill His decrees and divide the flames of fire that ignites in us illicit desires (v.7).

Whoever is not the Lord’s sheep is not known by Him, and thus, do not know His instructions and are not answered in their prayers. Even worse: when they should believe, the enemy is the lord of their lives and takes away their faith. Believing is a prerogative of all those who belong to the good Shepherd’s home. Although it seems to be something simple, no one is able to believe if the Most High does not receive them. 

He who doesn’t listen to the Lord’s voice cannot follow Him. However, when this person listens, they rejoice, because they become His sheep. Then, they will be led to the green pastures, where there is abundant food, and to the still waters, where their soul will find rest and restoration in peace (Psalm 23:2,3 ). Soon, they will be recognized by God as a member of His sheepfold, for the fact of letting the light shine in their heart. If Jesus becomes your Shepherd, your problems will be solved. 

Jesus’ sheep know that He is the good Shepherd that will not let them want anything (v. 1). In all the enemy’s attacks, the Lord will go ahead of them to bring the solution. He is a better shepherd than David, who faced a lion when it attacked one of his sheep. This man, who was according to God’s own heart (1 Samuel 13:14) went after the animal and killed it. He did the same thing with a bear. The Lord would do the same thing, for the son of Jesse imitated Him. 

God’s sheep soon obtain eternal life and the guarantee that they will never perish. Since they are in the Vine, they will receive the sap, the nature of the Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), of God Himself. We are members of a Body, whose Head is Christ. He strengthens us to come out victorious in battles; therefore, we have value before God, because we have been made victorious in all things for the glory of the Father.

No demon will be successful against you when trying to make you suffer, if you are in Christ and face him in the Name of Jesus. Therefore, do not be frightened and do not feel incapable of facing any evil force. Be filled, now, of the authority that has been given to you and seek your victory!
