I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. Psalms 119.14

All of the Lord’s accomplishments in your life have the purpose of helping you to reach a position in which the psalmist affirmed that he had reached. God would never teach you something that would cause any kind of loss, for God’s Remedy – His Word – does not bring “collateral effects” or any harm. What He gives you comes in the perfect and complete measure. If it depends on Him, you will never be unsuccessful.

The key of victory is to believe in what God says, and then claim His promises. It is not enough to know that a blessing belongs to you. If you do not assume it, you will never reach it. The proof that you are before God is when you listen to the Word, understand what God prohibits, and so you stop practicing that mistake. Many times, this prohibition causes disappointment, because you may be “sold to the enemy”, not being able to see the reason why certain behaviors are condemned. However, afterwards, you will recognize the great gift that the Father has given you.

Whoever walks with the Most High seeks to follow His commandments, for they bring great pleasure. Now those who fulfill them without fullness of heart do not know the damage that they do to themselves, for it is an offense to God. There is only one way of serving the Lord: with joy! Attending Him with good cheer will always bring us a reward. The Lord’s testimony is His voice saying that you must walk on the way that He shows.

To practice the divine commandments is not a punishment from the Father of Love, but a benefit from Heaven. Therefore, when you are in the direction shown by God, you will be stronger at every decision you make, and happier with what your faith will accomplish. If you give attention to what the Lord speaks, you will show maximum obedience to Him. Therefore, your life wills start to change, and in little time, you will be surprised with what you conquered.

A sad Christian is he who has not learned the way of God’s testimonies, and therefore, the enemy oppresses him with the spirit of melancholy. Under the oppression of the devil, even if a person might have a wonderful family, good friends, and may lack nothing, he will not be glad. The secret of joy has already been revealed to you – now you must only live it completely! You should not always welcome riches, unless those that God Himself may have given you.

Never accept anything that has not been promised or blessed by the Lord. Now, if He does not give what you consider important, there must be a serious reason. There are many kinds of riches – intellectual, material, mental, etc. –, but the best is when it is given under the Lord’s blessing, since there will be pain added to it (Prov 10.22).

Therefore, do not exceed your limits in order to be rich, working more than you should. Also, do not use shady ways to obtain what you need. The Lord is magnified with the prosperity of His servants (Ps 35.27). Let God direct you, and then you will see that He knows how to bring prosperity without condemnation. After all, Jesus has brought us abundant life!
