Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked.  Psalm 82.4

We have salvation thanks to God’s victory in the battle that was waged between the forces of Heaven and Hell. The Lord himself was involved in such battle, that we would become part of the Kingdom of Heaven. Hell did—and continues to do—everything possible not to lose us. So we must remain steadfast; otherwise we will be lost forever. And it is our duty to rescue those who are still in bondage.

There is not a single person who has come to the gospel by chance. Without a doubt, it was a battle between Light and Darkness—Good and Evil, God and the devil. As a result, there is joy in heaven over each person who repents (Luke 15.7). This gives us some understanding about how important we are to the Lord. He sent his only begotten Son to die for us. If we were not precious to God, Jesus would never have paid such a high price for us.

The Savior said that no one can come to him unless the Father, who sent him, draws him (John 6.44). Now, having been saved, we are part of the body of Christ and citizens of Heaven, with incomparable rights, obligations and privileges. The same battle takes place when you receive healing or are delivered from temptation. Therefore, each of us needs to act in a responsible manner, without cooperating with the evil one, whose mission is to remove those who are saved from Heaven.

Hell did not let you go voluntarily; rather, you were rescued by the Lord. And now the kingdom of darkness is doing everything possible to get you back, by trying to remove you from the presence of the Lord. It is incumbent upon each of us, God’s beloved children, to take heed lest we fall (1Corinthians 10.12). We must remain standing. Therefore, do not give up that which Jesus has done for you. Remain steadfast on your position as a child of God and seek more of the Father through his Word and prayer in order to overcome.

He who does not remain on the position that was given to him—sitting together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2.6)—will not share in God’s glory here on earth, nor in eternity. The Lord’s message is: “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26.41). Those who persevere until the end will see their names being pronounced by the Lord of lords, King of kings and will be blessed for all eternity.

Today we have a mission: rescue those who are still in bondage. For that, the Lord has given us his Spirit. And with him, we have power over all works of the enemy. Be strong and courageous when claiming to the Lord those who belong to him. Pray for wisdom, and whatever is given to you, minister it with faith without ever giving up. Never accept defeat. If you lose a battle, pull yourself together and go back to the war. He who has God on his side will never lose.

Well, now you know what to do, right? One day you will render accounts to the Most High regarding all that you did for those who are in sin. As hard as the battle may be, never give up. Those who are truly children of God will deliver all those who are lost, dominated by Satan. The authority that has been given to us is greater than the power of the enemy.

In Christ, with love,

Father and Lord of all battles, sometimes we act like fools, thinking that our salvation was some kind of accident. Thank you for what you have done for us, for you delivered us from the hand of the enemy and led us into your kingdom of light, holiness and righteousness.

Now we need to use your direction and power, which you have given us, to deliver those who still do not know you and do not love you. This same power we must use to bring healing, freedom and prosperity. Surely, Lord, we will have the victory.

Use us, oh God! Make each of your servants a warrior like you. Help us fulfill your plan, so that our salvation is justified. After all, we were saved in order to bring many others to experience your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Thank you so much, Lord!
