And they dwell in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying. 2 Chronicles 20.8

Jehoshaphat mentioned something important about the Israelites: they abided in the Promised Land. Few are the people who manage to abide – live – in the Gospel, where the promises of God are found, because it requires acting through faith. That place was physical, but it would not invalidate the operation from the Most High in their favor. Because of that, the king prayed that the Almighty remembered that, or, in other words, brought life to that truth in their hearts.

If they had gone back to Egypt, like many of them wanted when they were in the desert on their way to Canaan, the king of Judah would not have basis to seek in God the victory over his enemies, because they would have despised what the Lord had promised. In the same way, whoever has become converted but went back to sin, will not become successful while claiming victory. It is not only with a huge sin – if there really is a difference between sizes of sin – that will stop the divine action, because any bad action is wrong.

Whoever despises that which God has reserved them, goes back to the devil’s captivity and begins living according to what he wants. After that, when they need help, they will not find it, unless they have truly repented. He who fights to honor the divine precepts does not care about the evil threats, because he knows he is connected to the Father and, because of that, they make an invincible duo. The simple decision of remaining faithful will make you a successful person.

We must honor the plans from the Most High, because he didn’t mention it without a purpose. The Scriptures warn us that whoever despises the Word of God will perish (Proverbs 13:13). Because of that, whoever follows the biblical guidance is in fellowship with the Father, in one spirit. When acting in the Name of Jesus, the person makes a sanctuary to Him. Start honoring Him now, because He is the Almighty Lord in the Heavens and on the Earth, our Savior.

In the book of Revelations, God speaks four times about the person who wins, showing them beautiful blessings; however, what is said about those who abandon Him is very sad. We have been called to live in the real Land of Promises, which is why we have to claim our rights. On doing that, we can be grateful for the prompt and objective replies. Our order shall never fail.

Jehoshaphat remembered the Lord that even while facing heavily armed enemies, the descendants of Abraham took possession of the place which was promised to them and, because of that, they should be helped accordingly. That makes us enter into the battle field with strength and determination, ready to triumph. The mistake is to show yourself weak in the battle, because your strength will be little. However, when you face evil with celestial dignity, you will become victorious. We are destined to win in every situation. Halleluiah!

When Jesus reigns upon a person, becoming the person’s Pastor, they will begin to walk on the righteousness of God, keeping the statutes (group of rules about cure, freedom, prosperity, holiness etc.), and abiding in the Gospel, in the fullness of the Lord’s grace. Well, Christ is our Prince forever, because of that, we will never be abandoned.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

God of truth! We have the assurance that we make an invincible duo with You. The devil will not defeat us, if we become one spirit with You. Thank you for loving us so much.

Jehoshaphat called Your attention, but he was the one who needed to remember that Your people inhabited Canaan. With this, he and everyone in Judah rejoiced in You and, when they went to war, they saw Your hand operate like never before. Halleluiah!

We shall also see Your glory, because we believe in what You said about us. The enemy will never become victorious over us. Because we are Yours and we abide in Jesus, doing Your will, we will always be victorious. Please accept our praise. Amen!
