29/11/2014 - A SAD DECISION

And they said, “That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.” Jeremiah 18.12

The person that decides to listen to temptations makes the worst decision. How many times, even knowing the punishment that is destined for those who bow before Satan’s proposals, don’t we do the same? We are like irresponsible children, but with one difference: we know what happens to people that leave the good way to walk in the darkness. It would be good to ponder your decisions, before it is too late.

God can change your evil heart, transforming it in a heart according to His desire. One of the mistakes that we commit is to judge that we are different from other people, believing that we can practice some things that, although they are prohibited, we think that they will do us good. Now, when the Lord prohibits us from doing something, it is so that we might not be under the authority of the evil one. Be wise and move away from sin.

When a person abandons wickedness, the Most High transforms him in a vessel of honor, someone according to His heart. However, when he hardens his heart and does not listen to the Lord, he is delivered to his own desires. Then, the devil enters into action, dominating that person, who starts being his slave. Afterwards, the years of peace, prosperity, and good health disappear like in a spell.

The Omnipotent has the power to accomplish everything. If we obey Him, He will make us a success. However, if we do not listen to Him, our end will be a disaster. If it is so, why should we despise the Fountain of good and bow down to serve the fountain of evil? Those who prefer a “crazy love” make the saddest decision. Only true love should have our attention. When our actions are clean, without any contamination, we only have pleasure in them.

Even having received the best promises from the Most High, you can still become the reason for mockery and shame. Those who do not keep what was entrusted to them show that the promises do not come true and were not fulfilled. Now, the Omnipotent will do as He promised if we fulfill our part. The divine promises are conditional; we cannot claim for them if we do not do as it is required from us.

The Lord is prepared to exalt you or to punish you. What do you prefer? In the Great Day, He will go from Lawyer to Judge. Therefore, do not forget that it is your decision that will determine what God will be for you. Besides the eternal punishment, if you only care about what can happen to you here in this world, you are a fool. Since you are not under the divine protection, the devil can strike your life with any evil.

The person that follows the Most High’s plans is victorious. Those who strive to obey the commandments will see that they will be like God’s splendor, shining in your way. Those who do not strive to obey the divine plan are walking in the darkness, and will certainly fall.

In Christ, with love,

Father! This word that You have given through Jeremiah is so serious. The previous verses show that the way that we behave will determine Your actions. We can only beg for mercy and help. Do not allow us to make You be the Judge of our condemnation.

Condemnation will come to the person who does not have the courage to seek You and ask for a change in his life. With this revelation, everyone that wants to be successful is advised not to walk in their own imaginations. Help us, Lord!

You are the true Potter, He who has pleasure in helping humanity to get rid of its weaknesses. You know us, and therefore, You are the only one who can make us stand and accomplish Your wonderful dreams concerning our lives. Thank You, God!
