 Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. Psalm 143.10

Most importantly, we must make God our supreme Lord, and this happens when we recognize His authority over our lives and submit to His Word. He will only be your God if you give Him the first place over your will, bowing before the revelation of the Scriptures. Then, once you assume what He reveals you, you give Him the opportunity that He has so much waited to bless your life.

Everything He desires is to become your God. Since He is the Almighty, He knows what to do in order to free you from the reach of the evil one. In order for this to happen, it is important that the conditions may be given to Him through your faith. Now, if you fear any threat from hell, you are submitting to the spirit of oppression sent from the kingdom of darkness.

The Lord’s operations in your life must be limitless, because He is unlimited in all senses. On the contrary, you will not recognize Him as God. In order for the Father to accomplish what is necessary, you must only believe in what He has given you. Whoever does not believe in the power of the Most High to act in his life limits Him. This attitude is like making a confession that He is not God.

After making the Omnipotent his own God, David prayed so that He would teach him to fulfill His purpose. It is not enough to know the divine purposes; you must be willing to fulfill what He revealed you. Now, the Lord’s will is never evil and will never cause you any harm, but undoubtedly it will make you become the person that the Omniscient planned you to be. Certainly, the heavenly plan for your life is special.

In continuity to this prayer, David asked the Most High to guide him in a land of uprightness, for he understood that in difficult terrains, filled with stones and thorns, the Lord would never guide him. God will never guide you randomly, in a confused and tight manner. His plan in not made obscurely, but in plain light. He never writes with crooked lines, but with straight lines.

The Holy Spirit is ready to act in your favor as your Comforter. However, in order for this to be possible, after you have learned the divine commandments assume them and practice them. Whoever despises God’s words will not have His help in the time of need. In truth, whenever He reveals you something, He has already given you the possibility to take hold of it. Therefore, determine your victory.

Another important, yet simple thing is to believe that the will of God will never make you go through a dangerous or dirty situation, because the Lord is perfect in all His acts. Thus, you will not regret having permitted Him to act in your favor. The Most High wants to see you enjoying the good things that He gave you in Christ Jesus.
