When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much. 2 Chronicles 20.25

When God directs a person, he sees so many marvels that he compares himself to those who dream (Psalm 126: 1). It is necessary to be in communion with the Omniscient in order not to lose anything that He gives. By giving us the faith that works in us, the Lord says that He can solve our problems. Be aware, because often what He does for us is greater than we might think. He knows how to fill His children with goods.

When he heard that the Ammonites, Moabites, and the men of the mountains of Seir got together to fight against Judah, king Jehoshaphat feared, but he did not hide. He presented himself to the Lord asking Him for mercy. Whenever a clinical examination is not favorable, pray; if you feel something bad in your heart, pray; if circumstances prove that there is no solution to your case, pray. God loves to answer those who cry out to Him day and night.

The king followed the instructions that came into his heart, calling the people to ask for help and presenting himself before the Most High to plead for mercy. It was a matter of praying and waiting for the answer, which would not delay. God knew of the plans of the nations that plotted to destroy Judah, but He had not forgotten the promise made to His people to serve them when they sought Him.

God spoke through the prophet Jahaziel. Divine speaking means that the request has been answered. Thus, the people of Judah praised the Creator and set out for battle, which, as the Lord said, would be His. When they looked, they only saw bodies, which pleased them greatly, for the enemies destroyed each other. Then, the servants of the Almighty saw the spoil – the riches which their enemies had taken, and which now belonged to them. Be aware, for, when finishing your fight, there will be a great spoil for you.

The prosperity was so great that it took them three days to carry everything. Problems do not always arise to hinder us, but for us to come out of the battles even more blessed and prosperous. The spoil of the past is like a sign of the blessings we will receive from believing in the defeat of the enemy. After all, as co-workers of God, we must see our reward for being faithful.

If any evil has arisen, make things right with the Lord and suffer no more. Be a true blessing! Each time you are blessed, you become a doctor on that subject. With the same comfort with which you are comforted, you will be able to comfort those that are afflicted. In all matters, the Lord does not leave His servants empty.

Get rid of all that the devil throws at you, especially from unclean desires. Let yourself be led only by the Almighty. When being right with God, you will hear His wise instructions. He is a man of war; so, let Him fight for you!
