Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10: 23

Things not always work the way we wish and when that happens we’d better hold fast the confession of our hope: that He assures us that all of His promises in The Holy Book will be fulfilled by Him. However big and apparently impractical the promises of The Lord for you seem to be you must keep on trusting God. He’s faithful and that’s the reason why all of His promises will come true.

If you, on occasion, happen to get anxious wishing your will to be done in your timing and your manner it means you haven’t stopped being spiritually immature (Ephesians 4: 13, 14). When you take that sort of attitude it turns out that you’re behaving just like spoiled little children who get upset if their parents won’t promptly satisfy their wishes. Now, if any of your requests have not been answered by God it might signal that this decision of His is for your own good.

Whenever you don’t get the answer you’d like to get you ought to examine your heart and see if your wish was effectively promised by The Lord. It’s also a good idea to ask yourself if you’ve been sinning because it drives you away from God. If people were answered even when they transgressed they’d undoubtedly justify their errors by saying that their conduct is approved by our Father and they go, “well, He knows all of my needs and in that case I’m not committing any sin!”

If the blessing delays to come the direction of The Holy Spirit is for us to hold fast the confession of hope; so, we’re strengthened by it and the enemy’s barriers will be put down one by one. Whenever faith grows strong in your heart just a word of command spoken in The Name of Jesus for your wishes to materialise will be enough. Jesus bought you for a high price to assure your rights in Him and you can be certain that they’ll remain so forever.

The hope which sprung from our heart as we listened to The Word of God assures us that The Most High will fulfil all of His promises for us. On occasion, we’ll have to take attitudes like Daniel who needed to go on fasting and prayer for twenty-one-days for an archangel of God to come and defeat the demon (Daniel 10: 13). Be sure that The Lord will stretch His hand out to help you whenever you need Him.

The promise made to you might be big. Now, making it come true might seem impossible but as long as you have achieved it by the Divine Word you must know that you won’t be defeated; on the contrary, you’ll see that promise being confirmed as soon as you meet the requirements stated in The Scripture. God’s faithful and He’ll never deny His promises.

Being reborn, real Christians now, it means that we’ve joined The Body of Christ and we can say that we’re now part of God as well. There’s no reason for our Father not to bless us with all those riches in store for us. Don’t be to learn the lessons about your rights in Christ and have no fear to claim for them! This is a quite important secret, a secret which will give you directions in your journey of faith! Now, put into practice everything you read in The Word of God!

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
