So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for Solomon that he could not explain it to her. 2 Chronicles 9:2

We must represent Jesus before mankind; therefore, we must be prepared to answer to  the wise of  this world with such simplicity and wisdom, that they will be surprised with what God does for us and in us.  We cannot frustrate them, and not quench their thirst or satisfy their hunger for the Truth. In Christ, who lives in us and whom we serve, they will obtain complete answers.  Therefore, they will be without excuse if they do not convert.

The Queen of Sheba was enchanted by Solomon’s fame and went to Jerusalem to test him with her enigmas. She was a rich and wise woman, who desired to learn the Truth, so she left her country with this purpose in mind. There are many people in our generation, which God has exalted in the business conglomerates, in various fields of science and other human activities that are avid for the Truth. 

It was the Most High that led this queen to the son of David.  She arrived with a great number of camels loaded with spices, gold and precious stones.  No doubt, she must also have been accompanied by a good part of her army. If God takes you someone who has become a well-known leader, what will this person receive from you?  Will this person be easily satisfied in hearing trivial things?  Prepare yourself!

Jesus warned us: For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required. (Luke 12:48b) He has not led us to learn of His capacity for us to be lazy and not prepare ourselves in the study of the word and prayer. Wasn´t this what Peter said to those who surrounded him in Jerusalem, when he heard that it was not right to continue to serve at the table, leaving the main part, the Word, unattended? (Acts 6:2) Those who have been enlightened must do what pleases the Lord.

The queen talked about everything she had in her heart and was amazed that Solomon was ready and prepared to answer her.  Those who are leaders in any field, members of any religion, do not satisfy themselves with vague explanations.  They must be satisfied in their doubts and needs; then, if they convert, they will take many people to God.

During that visit, the Lord was truly glorified! As he explained each of her questions, leaving nothing hidden in her sight, Solomon made her become enchanted. God did not give us the Holy Spirit for no reason, but prepared us to serve Him with wisdom and power.  Can it be that we have understood the reason we have arrived to His Kingdom? Let us undertake our mission with responsibility and correctness.

On seeing the wisdom of the son of David, the house he had built, the food that was served, the places seated by his servants, the way his servants conducted themselves, his waiters and the way he went up  to the House of God, the queen was spell-bound.  Prepare yourself! You were called to fully serve the wise and powerful Being.  He wants to use you!
