And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Ezekiel 37:3

The Lord is All-knowing for He holds all knowledge. When God asks you something it is meant to make you ponder on what He has taught you. He always has something to convey to you and by learning from Him you will become successful in all your endeavors. Be always attentive to what the Almighty tells you and, at the same time, do not rush to answer and never attempt to teach Him anything. Being humble before men is good but before God is even better.

Jesus knew what He was doing when He spoke to His disciples about His concern for the people who had been with Him for three days without eating (Mark 8:1-3). No one feels hungry, thirsty or has any other need in the Lord’s presence. Actually He supplies us with what we need to live with dignity. The Master wanted the disciples to think about the “problem” and then He would provide the solution.

So be prepared! Most assuredly the Lord will ask you about many things as part of the lessons He teaches to your life in order to mature you for the mission you have been assigned. God knows how to season with fire so that you are not persuaded by the enemy’s smooth talk. God would never use someone who gets carried away by the lies of the adversary and puts His name to shame.

The Master uses the simplest things to make us wise. At every moment, in every trial, you can turn to Him and ask for help so that you can obtain the understanding that will enable you to overcome the assaults of the evil one. Those who learn from the Lord dumbfound the wise men of this world because their answers come from heaven, and when it happens all flesh must be silent before the wisdom with which we are endowed.

Upon hearing the preaching of the word or reading the Bible, God will show you what you should do. So do not let your soul wander in foolish thoughts because one of the works of the Holy Spirit is to teach you all things and tell you what He has heard from Heaven. People who learn from the Lord become wiser than their masters. The distance that separates you from the lost will be a very long one if only you learn from the beloved Master.

Humility should be the mark that guides every child of God. Those who live this way will see that this is good before men and much better before the Lord Almighty. The humble will be rewarded for letting the Father reign through them.
