Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me. Isaiah 45.11

False humility leads many people to fear coming near the Lord God. Therefore, they don’t enjoy of His councils and His blessings. They do this out of disobedience, for the Lord says we should only fear Him. In the Scriptures, there are several verses that encourage us to meet our needs in Him. Jesus invited all those who are weary and heavy-laden to come to Him and promised to give them rest. 

To be afraid of God is to let yourself be carried away by the enemy, and he will do everything so that you don’t go before the Father in judgment, for, this way, he will continue to oppress you. The Lord wants us to ask Him concerning our brethren, for, if they are still not saved nor living victoriously, then we need to enter into battle to win it all; and this pleases the Lord God. 

One of the greatest examples of asking the Lord took place with Jacob, who fought with the angel all night long and prevailed. Otherwise, he would have been destroyed by his brother. If he had not done that with all his strength, then in just a few hours, he would have been killed by Esau, who was going up against him with 400 men. However, because he knew how to ask, Jacob received the blessing. 

Jacob did not leave things unsettled, thinking that Esau would be generous towards him and not do him any harm. Much to the contrary, he fought with God until Esau´s heart changed. This is an example of how to proceed if we are persecuted by someone, if any evil dwells in us or in our family members. Don’t allow the devil to come out victorious, for that is denying the work of Jesus. 

The Most High puts Himself at our disposal so that we ask Him concerning the things that are set to take place. We can change their course and not allow them to come near us. The best time to begin a demand and ask the Lord is when you learn enough about what you are going to claim over your rights and when you are aware that you should not back down one millimeter in what has been revealed to you. 

The orientation to the holy people is to claim the promises until there are met. Once you have begun your demand, don’t let yourself be led by the lies of the enemy and don’t surrender either. If you give in to the enemy you will sadden the Lord. To say before the angel of the Lord that your act was not good will cause the Father to be hurt with you. When you use the Name of Jesus, divine power will come into action. 

Ask about the works of the hands of the Lord, about the ones He prepared for you to walk in them and about the ones He will do whenever necessary. Don’t allow the works of God to be lacking in the collection of victories that you will obtain by faith.
