11/05/2016 - ATITUDES AFTER CALLING UPON GOD

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.      Jeremiah 29.12

Jeremiah was used to admonish the people of Judah – led to the babylonian captivity – to build houses in Babylon and establish life in that nation, where they would be for 70 years (v. 5). The Scriptures continue to warn us regarding a great evil that surrounds mankind, seeking to lead it to captivity one more time. However, the permanency in this place, to where the disobedient people will be sent, will not only be for a few years, but it will be forever, and those who are condemned will never be delivered from there. 

The prophet kept on saying that God had not forgotten the thoughts He had concerning that people, which were of peace, and not of evil, to give them a future and a hope they longed for. The same can be said about us; however, unfortunately there are many people who were saved, who followed Jesus for many years, and afterwards, because they gave ear to the demons, they went astray. Today, they are heading towards eternal doom. That is so painful! 

It wasn’t easy for those people to be in that “school”, but, since they rebelled against the Lord, this was the best alternative God found in order to teach them to obey and be faithful. If today you are going through some serious trial, don’t rise up against divine wisdom. Notice that because He loves you and He doesn’t want you to suffer eternal loss, the Father gives you chances to make things right with Him, and thus, come out from this “school” approved as a worker of the Truth. 

For Judah, the Most High promised that when those 70 years were coming to an end, those people would call upon Him, and He would set them free. Your time is right now. If you leave to do this in the last days of your life or after death, you will discover too late that you took the wrong decision, and thus, you missed your opportunity. Do not waste time! Learn with the Lord and get out from Satan´s oppression. 

The people of Judah would follow their way and could be constituted once again as a nation, with everything in its due place. Take what the Most High has spoken to you through His Word and march steady to fulfill His will. The thoughts the Father has concerning you are wonderful, pure and healthy. Take the most important decision of your life by getting out from the kingdom of darkness and entering Jesus´ Kingdom. 

When those people were set free, their rights would be restored, such as to pray to the Lord and be heard. In truth, the Almighty never forsake them, but, now, after they learned the lesson, He wanted to answer their claims.  The same thing can be said about you, for the One who never fails and will never stop loving you, wishes to restore your prerogatives as a child of God and answer your needs. 

There is nothing better than to respect the Word, fulfilling all things God has determined, for, when any evil sent against you comes, or some sort of problem or any other torment, those people who are found fulfilling the biblical demands will certainly be blessed. Today is the day for you to assume your victory. Therefore, now that you are before the Lord, open your heart and make things right with Him.
