And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.  Mark 10:50

When listening to Jesus, the blind Bartimaeus understood that the Master would give a solution to his problems. The understanding he received when he heard the Lord is what He wants to accomplish in your life. Then, pay attention to what you feel you will need to do, in order to take possession of that which God claims to be yours. Faith is complete and grants you not only power to obtain the blessing, but it also gives you direction to proceed with wisdom and assume that which belongs to you.

With Christ, the days of humiliation come to an end. In Bartimaeus´case, it was his blindness and the state of misery in which he lived in; however, he had the conviction that with the Son of God, he could be free from both. For this reason, do not reject what faith tells you, because through it, the ancient achieved good testimony and pleased the Lord. Still today, it gives us the right orientation for us not to be the same person any longer, once it came into our life to change us completely.

Although he was scolded, Bartimaeus cried out until he was answered. Do not give any attention to those that are against your attitude of trusting the Lord. It is a fact, that when the Most High confirms that you will get rid of your problem, the enemy uses people to try to forbid you from acting according to the divine purpose. However, remember that faith does not follow logic, it does not produce something in your mind; it is the certainty that comes to your heart when listening to the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Whoever has faith does submit to any human request nor does he remain quiet with someone else’s reprehension, but he acts like the Bible teaches, and consequently, see the difficulty totally solved. It must be the greatest authority in your life, and through it, you will please the Lord. The Most High rejoices with all those that do not fear and fight until the promise of the Lord is fulfilled. These become successful.

To prove his trust in God, Bartimaeus through aside his garment, because he believed that he would not need it anymore to show that he was a wretch. From that moment on, he would have dignity and would see everything with the eyes of a conqueror. Before having an encounter with Jesus, there was no perspective in his life, which is why he considered himself a wretch, worthy of pity and the help of those that apparently saw him. However, only he who is healed by Christ can see the picture in a victorious way.

The blind man stood up and went to the Master. This is the attitude we all must have. As long as we are sitting down in the “chair” of defeat, we will not achieve anything except some charity. However, when we rise up and go towards the Savior, our success is certain. There is no biblical record where someone was disappointed with the Lord. Those who go to Jesus never come back with their hands empty, for the Master never says goodbye without giving what they need.

While you are listening about Him, trust in the invitation that the Lord Jesus does to your heart, for you will certainly not be disappointed. Give an end to your suffering and a warm welcome to a righteous life, clean and plentiful. Without Christ, there is only uncertainty, deception and all sorts of afflictions. With Him, you will never beg for someones favor, but you will certainly be fulfilled.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Author and Finisher of our faith! Those who understood that in You there is solution to all problems can be certain that the days of humiliation and suffering are finishing. When Your Spirit teaches us the truth, there is no way we can continue stretching out our hand to charity.

Who can tell us to remain silent, if the order to speak came from You? The secret is to cry out until our heart is filled with faith and until it reaches Your ears. He who cries out will be answered, thus, he will no longer need the garment nor the pity of any person!

Help us not to submit ourselves to any human order that can hinder us from reaching You, and also help us rise up and walk towards You, Lord! When this takes place, we will say exactly that which we need. The praise will be all Yours, our Redeemer!
