And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him, and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.  Luke 19.47,48

It is impressive how people felt and still feel attracted to the Lord Jesus. This frustrated the plans that the main priests, scribes and leaders of the people had devised. Only because of envy, they wanted to kill the Master. Today, although the times have changed, things are still similar, and unfortunately, they still happen, for the demon still finds those who are ready to serve him.

Teaching was an important aspect of the Lord’s ministry. He lead the people to understand the difference between light and darkness, the religious teaching and the Word of the Most High, faith and the foolish way of trying to serve God. As a result, every type of miracle was operated by His hands. As we take people away from religiosity and bring them to Jesus, spectacular miracles are accomplished. 

When a faith that a person has is mental, he becomes exceedingly religious, fanatical, and almost always, he believes that he is better than others or the owner of the door in Heaven (Lk 18.9-14). Therefore, this person does not believe that someone outside of his church can be saved, used by God or able to please Him. Now, those who have the biblical faith are filled with joy when they understand that a servant of the Most High is used by Him.

Christ’s teaching brings understanding to all of us. The harmless become careful in what they speak; the carnal change their procedures; the broken start prospering, and thus, they all become examples. Those who practice the Word of God do not look at all with the religious people. This is the kind of servants that the church needs, for with a positive way of being and believing, their works become similar to those that Jesus did.

The wicked of nowadays are just like those of the past. In the same way that there were people that wanted to make the Master silent, even killing Him if necessary, there are people nowadays that follow the same path in quieting down those who do the Lord’s will. Wickedness is so great that some people absurdly invent and propagate lies concerning those who serve Him with faithfulness and sincerity. 

Observe the detail that the Holy Spirit put in the written declaration by Luke. Those who tried to take away Jesus’ life did not manage to find a way how to do it. This will also be true to every servant that makes good use of this hint. Even if Hell has decided to finish with your life through another man, an incurable disease, or an accident, he will not be successful. God knows how to keep those who are faithful to Him (Ps 31.23).

Do not falter, for there is still much to be done in the Lord’s work. The Most High will use you to fulfill His beautiful plan. Be responsible for the parties that will happen in the Heavens, for there will be a celebration for everyone who leaves darkness and enters to the Kingdom of light (Lk 15.7).
