20/09/2014 - BEWARE OF THE WICKED

Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, “You will not require an account.” Psalm 10.13

In the heart of the wicked, there is the voice of transgression. And that is why a wicked person does not think twice before renouncing God. His conscious no longer hurts when he does something evil, because his transgressions are so many, that he no longer cares if he is hurting or mistreating someone else. The only thing he cares about is getting what he wants, regardless of the fact that he had to stomp on someone to fulfill the desires of his evil heart. I feel sorry for the wicked, since it is their belief that God will never require an account.

In the heart of the righteous, there is the voice of the good Shepherd, leading him through the right path. Even in face of temptation, the soft voice persuades him not to give into the hands of the devil. He is always meek, never scared. He does not despair if the enemy launches an attack against him like the bursting of a dam. The righteous keeps fellowship with the Lord, so he never runs out of patience or becomes desperate; he is constantly guided in peace.

Deep inside a wicked person’s heart, the voice of rebellion and transgression is hiding; therefore he cannot resist even the smallest of temptations. To him, doing what he pleases is something as natural as breathing, since he is unable to think of anyone other than himself, or in those who are lost, nor in his own eternal bliss. It is sad to see how such people live, because they act like a wild animal which, in order to meet its needs, will even kill its own trainer.

When a wicked person looks around, he can only see what can give him pleasure or profit. Before his eyes there is no respect for what God says. His decisions are never based on what the Scriptures say, but on how much he can profit or enjoy. He walks without a destination and does not know what it is that the future holds for him. When a wicked person lies, he does not feel any shame.

The greatest danger for the wicked is that he does not care about fearing the Lord, so he does not even think that doing something good may be better than doing evil. If you can give him some profit or if he can benefit from anything that comes from you, he will tolerate you. However, if he feels that he can live without you, he will not think twice before turning his back to you. Do not keep a friendship with a wicked person, but make sure you always greet him, and whenever possible deliver God’s message to him.

The smile of the wicked is cunning, his talk is evil, and his cleverness comes from Satan. The best thing is always to find out the reason why he has come to you. On the other hand, the servants of God never allow themselves to be used by the enemy, no matter how strong the pressure is. Even if he has to suffer losses, he will never lay his hand on something that is illegal; rather, he will stand firm on the Lord’s promises.

God’s saints live in accordance with his Word. They are humble, they do not use the makeup of sin, they do not wear the clothes of lust, nor do they dance according to the music played by the devil. It is better to be in the midst of the humble, to have a clean heart and act in accordance with the Father’s guidance. If you do that, you will never fall into the hands of the enemy.

In Christ, with love,

Faithful God, how sad it is to know that there are people who no longer fear you. They can be easily used by the evil one to do us harm. They are not interested in the voice of the good Shepherd, unfortunately, and they keep committing sins and suffering the consequences.

Lord, help us whenever we find ourselves in the presence of a wicked person, of someone who does not respect you, who does not do your will, and can be used by the devil to harm us. With your help, the evil one will not succeed in striking us. And that is really wonderful, Father!

It would be great if every person on earth feared and respected your good Word. Then people would help one another and evil would never visit us. Father, even though the wicked may set up the most perfect traps, nothing evil will ever happen to us.
