and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel: “Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant…" Jeremiah 11:3

The promises of God are the announcement of what He can do for people, as long as they believe in His words, claim them and take hold of what is revealed to them. The secret things do not belong to us (Deut. 29:29), but those things which are revealed in the Scriptures belong to us and to our children forever. Therefore, examine with close attention the Word of the Lord, for in it you find God´s righteousness from faith to faith (Romans 1:17). 

The will of the Most High is expressed in His declarations, so that no record of the Holy Book should be forgotten or rejected. In the Bible, we find the divine plan for each person that lives on Earth. When you find a commandment or a promise, do not pray to know if that is or if that isn’t the will of God, for it was placed right there exactly to teach you what His purpose is to all people. 

Those who assume the declarations of the Almighty become blessed, successful, happy, and make Him be fulfilled like God and Father in relation to those who believe in Him. Now, the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10); so, if He is pleased with our attitude, we will be strong and active. There is nothing better than being completely inside the divine will, for this way, we are fulfilled. 

The celestial Father does not have to go out on the field to do what He says, for, when He speaks, His part in the process of the blessing has been accomplished. When He makes us understand something that is in the Bible, it is time for us to do our part concerning that topic. From the revelation, we become responsible for all good or evil that happens to us. If we believe, the blessing will reach us; if we don’t, we will have curse. 

Whether it’s a commandment or a rebuke; a promise or a warning, whoever does not listen to what He says will bear the consequences. Therefore, He warns us to not call Him a liar through our actions, for the person who understood His plan and learned about His promises, but does not act according to His will, is responsible for all that the enemy does in their life. All we have to do to make Him true is to believe. 

The commandments and the other declarations of the Lord bring wisdom and understanding. Those who don’t strive to obey His commands become atrophied in faith, and, later on, in the spiritual world, they become similar to those who got sick and were not able to move around. Therefore, exercise in what God says; thus, you will always be ready to win and win. 

Your choice will bring you blessing or curse; therefore, stay alert so that the devil does not make you act contrary to what the Creator wrote to you. The writing of God will always be complete. Don’t fall for the lies of the enemy by going astray from the directions given by the Lord. Be aware that despising the Word is the same as committing spiritual suicide.
