In Your mercy cut off my enemies, And destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I am Your servant. Psalm 143: 12

After being in the presence of God and opening his heart, the psalmist asked the Lord to hear him quickly, because his spirit was fading. When we feel like him, we must make the same request. He understood the need to seek the Face of the Almighty not to resemble those who descended into the pit. In fact, we need this divine rushing, because the devil does not attack us by chance, but he always comes with the purpose of destroying us.

Everyone needs to hear about what God’s kindness does for those who trust in Him. Thus, many would be much more willing and prepared to face the enemy when he appeared. It is necessary to ask the Lord for guidance on the path we must follow, without letting doubt and temptation take us away of the mission He gave us. Our goal should be to honor our call.

Those who have received the faith in Jesus must be vigilant, so that the enemy does not rob them of the power from up High granted to them. That which is necessary to be successful can certainly be found in faith.  This faith dwelt in Christ, so do not waste this heavenly tool. God expects you to do what the Savior did in His days. Be ready to execute divine justice wherever it is needed. That pleases God!

Never fear the threats of the kingdom of darkness; after all, Satan was defeated by Jesus. When mentioning the Name of the Lord with faith, you bind the envoys of the devil. By believing in the teachings of Christ, you take refuge in the Fortress, in the Almighty God Himself. The saved can live as victorious because Jesus gave the example of how to do the work of the Father. The devil cannot defeat you because of the Name that gives you the victory.

The Lord makes Himself available to you to teach you to fulfill His will. As your God, you will learn, by obeying the Word, how you should proceed in everything, and then the Holy Spirit will guide you through a smooth land. If you have faced obstacles in your walk of faith and worked too hard to attaining blessings, then you have not been guided by the Omniscient. God is the One who does the work; we just have to believe in order for it to be fulfilled by Him.

When you feel powerless to face the battles, ask the Lord to vivify your life for His name’s sake. If you are being afflicted, He will also deliver you for the sake of His righteousness (Psalm 143:1). Therefore, do not believe in the devil, but in what the Almighty has declared in the Scriptures. In fact, everything written in it will be fulfilled. Not one promise of the Bible has failed and certainly it will not fail now.

Your enemies may appear to be firm; however, if you call on the mercy of the Lord, they will be uprooted (Psalm 18:3). The Almighty promised to destroy those who distress your soul! The servants of God are kept and honored by Him in every way. Therefore, do not allow the forces of darkness to oppress you, but cry out for the operation of the Most High.
