Although the fall of Adam has made us hostage to the father of lies, man has the right to become a child of God. This occurs when he hears the Gospel and then feels that the message is correct and firm to give him salvation. If, by accepting Jesus as his Savior, the person is saved, but refuses to listen to the voice of the Lord, he will remain lost, because he preferred rebellion.

To continue in sin means to opt for the command of the devil, the useless one. The enemy only knows how to do evil, causing people to distance themselves from the Truth. That is why, when the consummation of the ages comes, when all shall stand before the white throne, where there is no wickedness and the light shines in all its brightness, their transgressions will be revealed. Then, they will be condemned to eternal torment. Mercy!

Those who are converted to Christ receive the power to become children of God. Those with stiff necks continue to be the sons of Belial, and on the day of Judgment they will receive eternal damnation. But why do many reject the Lord Jesus? Is this the work of the devil? Yes, just as God speaks so that all be saved, the devil also speaks, causing those who hear him to refuse the invitation to Heaven. So sad!

To preach the Gospel is an obligation of every Christian, and the disobedient will be blamed for having kept their arms crossed. Just as they heard the Good News and in many cases took years to decide to accept Jesus as Savior, there are others who also take a long time to go into action. That is why we must preach by exhorting the lost to save themselves. This way, they will avoid eternal damnation.

The Word is clear: rebels are like thorns – only serve to be thrown out. See how you have proceeded with the offer of salvation. If you die at this stage, nothing you do to change your future will have any value. Endless doom is the destiny of those who think they are too young to consecrate themselves to God.

One day the children of the useless one will weep bitterly, but none of that will help them. Why not be converted soon, if your tomorrow without Jesus will be terrible? Millions of years from today, you will be condemned, when in fact you could be standing next to the Creator, enjoying the good things He has prepared for those who are His! Do not miss this opportunity. Nothing is worth your suffering.

Being the son of the useless one, you are compared to the thorns, because your errors prevent God’s hand from picking you up. If you believe, the Most High will change your way of being. Let His hand, stretched out in your direction, deliver you from the clutches of the devil. Accept deliverance today!
