For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; 2 Thessalonians 3.7

We should be copied by all those who we win for the Lord, whether men or women. After all, they are like children, and because of that they will observe our procedures, and it is very natural that they imitate us. Therefore, pay close attention to what kind of lesson you are passing on to your sheep. Never get tangled up with business´s of this life, never accept to be associate of your members or have a closer and deeper friendship with them.

Any person who has some sort of weakness must pray to be delivered of such temptation, because if anybody realizes you have such weakness and if this person doesn’t understand that it is sinful, this person might desire the same temptation that hinders your life. The spiritual children are like the natural children: they learn more through are actions than through our words. It is dangerous that they learn what isn’t good for them. This case would fit with the warning giving by Jesus that the person responsible for any offenses will suffer a lot (Matthew 18:7).

Paul said that he never acted in a disorderly manner amongst the Thessalonians. This should be the behavior of all those who confess Jesus are their Savior, as well as those who preach the Holy Word. We have to inspire ourselves in the Almighty, who is our true example in every sense. Could you picture the Lord Jesus sitting along with the mockers, listening or telling dirty jokes or any other hoax?

Never leave from the divine commandment. Paul did not act disorderly; neither did he transgress any of God´s precepts. The Christian who takes part with other people in protests, strikes or leads riots still hasn’t learned that the Word of God is the only way to change situations. Once obeying divine commandments, you find out that that is the secret to be loved – blessed by the Father.

Don´t hide your holiness. At all times, make sure people see it, notice it and come to the conclusion that your are different from the others, and that inside of you, there is the fear of the Lord, thus, they will imitate you. On the other hand, people who like wrongdoings will avoid coming close to you, for they will consider you old fashioned, without any spice. What matters is to go through life without getting involved with wrong and uncanny practices.

Never be greedy, neither be a person who accepts invitations to dinners and trips with some member of the church, because the friendship between both of you might be the perdition to such person. The children cannot see the “nakedness” of the parents, for they will scandalize (Leviticus 18:7). This does not mean that once in a while you cannot give the pleasure to some family of the church to welcome you at their home, if they want to offer you a meal. But be careful so that it doesn’t become something frequent.

At all times, remember that you are a servant of Christ. Spend your social time in seeking the divine presence. The man of God must always present himself approved as a worker who does not need to be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). May the Lord delight Himself in seeing you relate to people without compromising with evil.

In Christ, with Love,

Lord, our example! We know how we must walk, because the command is for us to be imitators of Jesus. Your work suffers great loss when we appoint leaders of the world as our example, for without realizing, when we imitate such people, we are deviating others.

We cannot be the cause of scandal to anyone. Help us to keep ourselves from acting disorderly. May our acts, our decisions or any other thing we do be in accordance to Your will. What we want the most is to accomplish our mission with praise.

May our way of living serve as reference to other people. May we never be accused of not giving the good example. May those people who went astray learn with us, and come back to the Way urgently. God, it is good to be your servant.
