08/12/2016 - CONDITIONS TO ENTER THE KINGDOM

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.     Mark 10:15

It is beautiful to see the innocence and the faith that exists in infancy. Children treat will with gentleness and kindness, and never suspect any evil, though some people may be dangerous.  No doubt, infants enjoy a special divine protection since their angels see the face of the Lord (Matthew 18:10) The fact that Jesus told his disciples to allow the little children to come unto him, shows we should give them attention.

No one will be received in the Kingdom of God if he is taken to envy, malice or evil suppositions.  To be saved one must have a pure heart.  According to the Master, only the pure in heart will see the Lord (Matthew5:8) The only way we can purify ourselves is to believe that Jesus suffered and took our iniquities and transgressions upon himself (Isaiah 53:5). Therefore our correct attitude is to believe in what our Savior did for us.

Allow the Holy Spirit to prepare your heart, in order to accept the Master’s invitation to enter and take hold of the Kingdom that has been prepared for us since the foundations of the earth. (Matthew 25:34)  One of the secrets to not lose the time of visitation of the Almighty is to keep constant vigil, for it is not known when He will come (Matthew 24:42)  Those who do not heed the biblical warnings stumble and do not understand that they must be different than the others.

Another important fact is that beyond having to be like a child to enter into the wonderful domain of the Lord, you must also be strong to resist temptations and not be drawn into the lies of the enemy. Even though everything may indicate that certain wrong actions are justifiable, don’t be deceived, because behind every misinterpretation of the Word the prince of darkness lurks. Take your stand in Christ.

He who believes in the Almighty is well ahead on the road to salvation. Fulfilling each step of repentance, your soul rejoices, since each step that you take towards God, He walks in your direction.  Simply lay hold of what is given to you in Jesus and be victorious. If you do not apply faith to your deliverance the devil will always keep you in bondage to his lies.

When the Lord said that those who do not become children will not enter the Kingdom of God, I see that He was addressing the need for us to fight to not let gentleness and kindness of heart to withdraw from us.  Now this is a precondition not only to become a part of His home, but also to remain there.  We do not have to pay any price for eternal happiness; we must simply believe.

Finally if faith in Christ shines in your heart, the Lord will receive you as a member of His family.  From now on you will not be a target for the works of darkness.  Accepting to receive Jesus as Savior you also receive the power to be Son of God! Live that reality!
