Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.  Psalms 31.18

The Creator doesn’t let us be deceived because He loves the righteousness and justice (Psalm 33.5). Every advice we need to have a good life is in the Scriptures. We will not be deceived; therefore, we will not suffer. If we don’t pay attention on what He says to us, we are trapped by the enemy. But those who are wise change their way of life when they learn from the Word. And they have a good life.

Although we are born again, we still have some old habits from our old nature that embarrass us. We must get rid of them. James says that we should get rid of all moral filth and the evil and humbly accept the word planted in us, which can save us (James 1.21). In the Word we find advices that, if we accept them, will help us recognize and avoid evil people.

The verse we are studying says about people with lying lips. So, they don’t do good things but they do what the enemy wants. Unfortunately we see people that seem to be very spiritual. They look like sheep but inside they are like wolves (Mat 7:15). If they don’t repent from their sins, their entrance in the Glorious Kingdom will be denied on the Judgment Day (Rev 21.8).

People that have this posture can’t listen to the saints. But they are always paying attention on those that don’t live in the word of God. Besides, they are happy with new slangs, pay attention to gossips, like to speak about the rumors they listen to. This is why all the time they are unhappy and complaining about life.  The guide to their lives is what goes inside their heart.

You know this kind of people because they don’t confess what the Lord says, and they are always complaining. Many other problems join them. Therefore they are mean, evil and selfish. (Psalm 42:7). They become angry if they are not greeted as they would like. Even when the person has his or her own problems and for this reason they don’t realize their presence.  

The way they speak is related to things they listen to (1 Co 15.33). The lies command their inner being. They speak what the devil creates because their tongue is the evil’s servant. Therefore, they are always related to confusion. They give the worst examples. And their friends act like them. 

These revelations are in the Lord’s word so that we can change the way we act to please Him. If we have said something here that has opened your eyes, change your posture. The Lord loves you, but you must change the way you act if you want to live in His house. So, where will you spend eternity?
