“Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord, “who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; Isaiah 30.1

The child of God that devises plans without taking counsel of the Lord is considered rebellious. Thus, no one who is saved should make any decision, nor ask  for the advice of men, if the Lord is the Only One who knows everything and does not deny to answer whoever seeks Him. In whatever need you have, go straight to the Fountain of power and love, and place your request before Him. He promised to attend every request made in the Name of Jesus.

Taking counsel with any other is rebellion in the eyes of the Lord, since He is the only one who knows what is the best way for His children. Therefore, do not risk asking whoever it may be for the decision you should make. If you do so, even if it is with the best of intentions or if it is an advice from someone you respect a lot, undoubtedly you will commit one of the worst mistakes of your life. The right orientation only comes from the Most High.

Never promote a man of God to something he is not, and will never be: God. Those who say that they are under the coverage of a ministry commit a severe mistake, for their leaders are nothing more than humans like all others. It is right to be faithful to the ministry where the Lord has placed you. Do not let yourself be deceived by the idea of being safe under the “coverage” of a mortal.

The person who leaves the protection of the Most High to give to someone else the power to protect him mounts up sin over sin. This is a terrible mistake, something that will make you get stuck in many ways. Therefore, do not give to someone the authority over your life, so that you might not take away from your life the only true protection that exists – the Lord. The devil puts an enormous effort so that you may leave the divine protection.

You will not find any passage in the Scriptures that declares that David’s warriors were under his protection. The king himself wrote that God protected him and also those who trusted in Him. There is no reason why a person should need someone’s coverage if he already has the Most High’s protection. Those who make the Almighty their shelter do not get exposed to the action of evil spirits.

The rebellious children pay an expensive price for not submitting to the Scriptures. However, they will pay even more throughout all eternity. For this reason, do not seek for man’s counsel. He may not even be in sin, but the Bible gives no one the title of counselor. Only God can tell us what to do and what path to follow.

The Holy Spirit is ready to guide us in everything and He does it through the Word, saying everything that he hears, for He does not speak out of Himself. Those who submit to Him will never be lead to do what the Word condemns, and thus, will please the Omnipotent God.

In Christ, with love,

Lord! It is clear that we have the One in whom we should take counsel, for it is what Your Holy Word says. Whoever seeks the Counselor is never without the right and safe direction. Our plans must always come from You. Thus, we will never be deceived by the evil one.

Whoever is rebellious against Your direction cannot have success in life. The rebellious put themselves under the action of evil spirits, who for several times, seem to be religious. Only You know the best way, and therefore, we must consult Him always.

We do not want any ministerial coverage, except Yours. Why should we retrieve ourselves from Your protection, adding sin to sin? Your Son is our Counselor. Thank You for the counsels that You give us through Your unfailing Word.
