Return to Him against whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. Isaiah 31.6

Without the promises of the Lord, the children of Israel would not even have existed. It was the Most High who operated efficiently through Abraham and Sarah, who answered Isaac’s prayer and chose Jacob. The Almighty cared for their entire lineage. Although they provoked Him to anger many times, the divine love prevailed, and they became the chosen people. Now, the people of God are composed of all who are born again.

Even after seeing God make so many different miracles happen, the Israelites rebelled against Him, and consequently, suffered a lot. The Lord does not want this to happen again with His people of the New Testament. But there is no other way; sometimes it is necessary to go through sufferings to have communion once again with the Omnipotent. Why should you follow Israel’s steps and walk away from the Most High?

I am not talking about those who fall in the sins of the flesh, but about a religious system that leads many into sorrowful situations. It is important to be vigilant, for the demon knows that many will not resist to his temptations. Not all will deny the Lord, but instead of being watchful and grounded in the Word, many will call themselves prophets and will lead others in the way of mistake.

This matter is more serious than we think. Most people act with good intentions, but this does not change the Lord. Understand that it is very dangerous to permeate by your own in the spiritual world; it is not allowed. Therefore, the Almighty left us with His Word, so that we would not go into errors. Being so, those who want to “force” God to speak to them, through fasting and prayer, will find seductive ways that do not come from High and will lose themselves completely.

In ancient times, many kings of Israel thought it was easier to seek for the counsel of the “prophets” by fulfilling pagan religious rituals rather than seeking the Almighty. The Creator spoke through His prophets, and these would stick to what was already written, or else, there was no light in them (Is 8.20). Today, the Father does not speak through people like those, known as “prophets”, but through the preaching of His Word (Hb 1.1,2).

The danger of these “ministries” – though most might have good intentions – is that they do not come from the Lord. Now, those who despise what is written and try to hear God might be easily deceived by a familiar religious spirit, which will lead them to make crazy decisions, even though they think they are serving the Father. The truth is that the Most High only speaks through the Sacred Scriptures.

Let me say once and for all: only those who have His commandments and keep them are those who serve the Lord (Jo 14.21). The right word is conversion – changing direction. If you have been one of those who seek divine direction based on a “prophetic” system, stop it immediately. This is deep rebellion, something you do not and will never understand, for it does not have any Biblical basis.
