21/11/2014 - COOPERATING WITH THE LORD

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 Corinthians 6.1

To do God’s work is to cooperate with the Lord. For unknown reasons, the Most High chooses whoever He desires to cooperate with Him in the accomplishment of His work. Those who are called to this endeavor have the divine assistance at all times. But in order to do so, they must follow the orientations that He gives through His Word. Then, He calls them cooperators. The Father accomplishes His work together with us.

There is no other way of collaborating with the Lord if not following faith’s direction. In such a way there is not even one lost battle. In fact, when God is ahead of us, all the walls that are meant to block our progress are taken down, and at the same time, we are guided to accomplish His holy will with 100% accuracy. Those who cooperate never disrupt.

The person who does not put his Faith in action has a “deceased” inside of him (Ja 2.26). He who does not respond to what faith makes him understand commits one of the worst mistakes, for he despises the grace that made him a true soldier of God. Those who fight by faith will be successful in all things, including in the requests made by the Most High. It is by faith that we please the Omnipotent.

Grace came with Jesus; it is the Lord’s move in humanity’s favor, the way by which people are healed, forgiven, and freed of all evil. It is by grace that we are saved, through faith (Ep 2.8). After we become children of God (Jo 1.12), we are called to act in the most diverse positions in the heavenly Kingdom. Thus, we start putting into practice the gifts that the Lord grants to all His cooperators.

There is not one saved person that has not been called to be the operator of the divine will. However, in order for this to happen it is necessary to surrender to the Lord, seeking Him in prayer, for He will guide you to the place and kind of work that should be done. The Most High gave Adam an order to cultivate the land. Should not the same be done with the Gospel, the Land of Promise? Certainly, he who plows and cultivates the land will be successful.

Nobody should receive grace in vain. We cannot cross our arms and say that we have nothing to do with what happens with society, which has deteriorated to the point of apparently having no return. An entire generation can be lost. Therefore, we must preach so that at least some are saved. We cannot despise the grace that has been given; instead, we should cooperate with the Lord so that His work is accomplished.

The spiritually lazy will achieve nothing. He is like the farmer that does not plow the land, does not plant, and consequently, does not reap. Then, when he sees others reaping beautiful fruits, he tries to find an excuse to cover his guilt. Do not be a fool, for your land is fertile! Do what is told, and God will accomplish what He has promised.

In Christ, with love,

Merciful Father, not long ago we were in the hands of the devil, doing everything that was wrong. However, now, by Your grace, we are called Your children, heirs of the promise, and also Your cooperators. You are amazing in Your election.

We cannot let grace have no meaning in our lives. Help us to draw closer to You, for when we are close to You, our soul rejects the temptations and is willing to do Your will. Thus, we become useful as Your collaborators.

May Your Spirit always be operating in us, opening our eyes, and at the same time, showing us where there is need for action. Your plan in wonderful, and since it is being fulfilled, we will be with You for all eternity. Thank You!
