07/04/2018 - DO NOT ACCEPT DEFEAT

Our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave, As when one plows and breaks up the earth.  Psalm 141:7

Those times were difficult ones, for their bones were scattered to the mouth of the grave, as when one plows the earth. Why do things such as these happen? This is certainly a victory for the forces of evil coming from the devil. God’s operations cease in the lives of His chosen people when they give more attention to the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things (Mk 4.19). Have mercy, Lord!

Even being the people of God, if we are not in communion with Him, any poisoned arrow from Satan will bring us much harm. The solution is to be firm in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13), because by doing so, the faithful servant will be able to face and defeat the attacks from the kingdom of evil. Even if a person may feel weak, he must not worry, because if he is connected to the heavenly Father, his strength will increase. The prince of darkness will only manage to defeat a believer if he is a coward.

Since Jesus’ victory was put in your account, why should you fear the devil and allow him to attack you? Whoever believes in Christ receives power over the evil one (Luke 10:19), and nothing will harm this person. If you have been tempted, enter into action through prayer now and speak to God about it. He will certainly listen to you, and then, if you follow the guidance from High, you will be successful.

The Biblical examples must be studied and imitated, for they are a proof that it is worth to believe and strive in God. This is what believers should do today. Then, in just a moment, their afflictions will end. Once you know the Truth, your deliverance will come. This is the Lord’s desire, and He has power to heal you. Pray and ask for guidance in order to act correctly and to be delivered.

Do not think that those who served God in past generations were more privileged than us. They were tempted in the same ways and intensity, but they knew how to resist the evil one, which escaped from them (James 4:7). In the case of the psalmist, him and his people were like when one plows the land, having their bones – their physical, moral, and spiritual foundation – scattered over the grave. However, the Almighty was their strength (Psalm 28:7). Halleluiah!

We shouldn’t bother with the threats of the devil, but should take notice of the capacity the Lord has given us. Have you used the Name of Jesus to defeat the evil that comes in your way? God has given you all the tools you need to fulfill His orders. The guidance is in Scriptures, as well as the power to fulfill what was ordered to you. Be firm in the teachings of the Master and believe. Then, you will certainly win.

Do not forget: in all things, you are more than conqueror (Romans 8:37). Many times, the picture you see is not the one that God shows. He has given us power so that we may never lose battles. Do not sadden Him like Peter, who doubted and began to sink after he walked over the waters. Jesus lifted him up, but then rebuked him (Matthew 14:30,31). Continue going until you are victorious!

In Christ, with love,

God! We must follow the Truth and do the same things that Jesus would do if He were in our place. Father, do not allow us to be like cowards and not fight to honor the flame that You have given us. Victory will certainly be ours!

In the Name of Jesus, we take hold of our blessings. The enemy cannot put us to shame and defeat us, because Your honor is at stake in case that happens. Our greatest desire is that You rejoice with our success.

It does not matter if we are like the earth being plowed, because above all else, Your Word will never lose any battle, and will achieve what it was sent to do. May our structures be renewed, so that Your wonderful will may be done.
