But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.  Luke 22:32

The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen can weaken. If it dies, your loss will be irreparable. Therefore, pay attention to what God says in His Word concerning you and do your best to fulfill what He has ordered you. His orders are given to help you not to fall and to do what is your duty in the Kingdom. If you obey Him, you will be a child that brings joy to the Father.

With faith in action, you will be victorious. If you are involved, however, with practices that the Scriptures condemn, the damage done by the enemy in your life will be great. The only thing that should never happen with a believer is for him to be driven away by temptations. When Jesus sees that that will happen, He intercedes for us, requesting the Father for His indispensable and precious help.

The Lord intercedes for you on these difficult moments, so that your faith may prevail. The request that Jesus did on Peter’s favor makes us understand that the battles that we will go through are arduous. However, if we are firm in the Almighty, we will be indestructible. We will become spiritually robust like Abraham, who glorified God and was strengthened in faith. 

When a believer loses a battle, he becomes a bitter person, condemning other people for his failure and does not see that the problem is in him. Do not flee from the fight! Accept the challenges like a blessing, for that is the reason why the Lord has equipped you. Do not be like Ephraim, who although was armed, retreated before the enemy. With such an attitude, he put to shame the Man of War. 

Jesus reminded us that we will have afflictions in this world. They can be lasting or temporary, depending on our communion with God. If we are aware that the Master has interceded for us, we will leave our battles without a scratch. The secret is to recognize our mistakes and make things right with the Most High. God was not wrong when He called you to take part in His ministry. So, say to Him, “Thank You, Lord!”

When Jesus said that He interceded for Peter, He showed the apostle that he had already received the power to escape. The Father answers His Son’s prayers. The same happens to your requests and determinations. Resist evil and defeat it. You have the best weapon, you are protected by the best shield, and you are guided by the best Strategist of all times.

Once you defeat the temptation, remember: there are people who are weaker than you, who have fallen because of their self-sufficiency. “Lift them up!” is the order that the Most High gives you. You can be victorious over all battles!
