I say you speak of having plans and power for war; but they are mere words. Now in whom do you trust, that you rebel against me?  Isaiah 36.5

There was never a king in Judah who truly feared the Lord as Hezekiah (2 Kings 18.5). His obedience to the Most High led the people to trust their leader and, so they could see God’s extraordinary acts happening repeatedly before them. Some of our readers have not yet been taught to win battles. Now that you’ve learned to claim your blessings, the enemy comes with a trial that seems to be a dead end. However, there seems to be no way out, because Jesus is the Way out.

The king of the mighty Assyrian Empire, which had already been around for 13 centuries, decided to increase his territory, taking the land the Lord had given to the children of Israel. In the natural realm, he would succeed in his plans, but whenever there is a servant of the Lord in the scene it is a different story. You must not fear Hell’s attacks against your life or your family. The sons of the Almighty have an unbeatable ally.

Sennacherib sent his servant Rabshakeh to confront and intimidate the king of Judah (2Kings 18.17); however, the evil monarch made a mistake when he compared the work of faith that Hezekiah promoted, when he cut down the altars in the high places where the people burned incense to demons, with the altar of the Lord (v. 22). In fact, the enemy knows nothing about faith. Pay close attention to see what God will do to give you victory. The solution is always in having faith in Jesus.

One of the tactics of the evil one is to threaten, looking down on what you have. Therefore, do not pay attention to what the devil or his helpers have to say. There is no other weapon that is more powerful to destroy strongholds and taking captive all the fury of darkness than the Word of the Lord. The All-powerful God has promised to be Friend of your friends and Enemy of your enemies (Exodus 23.22).

He was wrong when he thought that Hezekiah was being bold because of Pharaoh, and not of God. The agents of evil are always wrong because they do not have the anointing of the Truth. For this reason, they act only upon lies. Remain in what the Lord has been telling you, because, when all else fades away, His words will never pass away (Matthew 24.35). He who trusts in the Most High owns the victory.

Hezekiah would have been defeated if he had conceded. If you give in even the slightest bit, you seal your defeat. It is impossible for God not to honor His word, because He would jeopardize His honor. Therefore, stay firm in the faith. Even if the situation seems hard, you will not be ashamed. Those who believe in the Almighty never lose a battle, because He is faithful.

In due time, God sent an angel who destroyed the entire enemy army. He will do the same for him who trusts His Word. And shortly you will see that the persecutor has disappeared. When the Lord’s patience comes to an end, there is no way to keep Him from fulfilling His will. God is on your side.

In Christ, with love,

God, the Enemy of our enemies! Sennacherib did not expect that there was a man in Judah who, in fact, served You. The Assyrians had defeated several kingdoms as well as Northern Israel. They misinterpreted You, because they thought You were like the false gods.

You will always rescue Your people. Some who are reading this message are facing serious problems and do not know what to do, even though they are praying, it seems that the difficulties are growing bigger. Father, help them recognize You as the true and faithful God.

Those were difficult days for Hezekiah, but he did not fail to trust You. On the contrary, he was able to face the enemy with dignity. When he prayed, You sent Your angel to bring a solution. Give the reader Your complete joy and blessing. Amen!
