The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

Nahum 1:7

Who is our God? He is good in all things. He is good at healing, delivering and doing any work. However, the wickedness of man keeps the Lord from acting. Perhaps you are committing the worst mistakes, but if you give ear to what the Father speaks, He will show you how He is skilled and powerful in helping, cleansing and transforming you into someone good. He is good!

The Lord’s capacity is much more powerful than the wickedness of the human heart. If you allow God to treat your life, He will turn you into a real blessing. Unfortunately, the enemy has blinded even the most used people of the Gospel, causing them to walk in the flesh instead of walking in the Spirit. As a result, what we see everywhere is people who have failed.

It is so painful to see Christians in dishonesty, adultery and other wrongdoings. The child of God does not know how much he or she loses by heeding the devil. Every step they give toward sin is a step away from God. The worst is that because of such stupidity the Lord’s power cannot operate in their life and then the devil starts to act. The happiness shown by the devil is fake. If you fall into deception, your prayers will not be answered.

The Lord, who is good, can perfectly well bring you back to life, but as long as there is repentance. Therefore, confess your sins to God and also to whom you stole, cheated on or made any wickedness against. In so doing, there will be no hindrances to the Lord’s work. However, if you hide your sin, on Judgment Day it will be too late for you to realize what prevented you from enjoying abundant life. Strip yourself of all evil with which the devil clothed you with.

If you allow him, the Lord will be good to you. He is a stronghold in the day of trouble, when the enemy attacks. Your restoration – which may cause you some grief because you stole, betrayed or hurt someone – will be perfect. Everything the Father does is done with care and love. Do not be deceived by the evil one anymore, because weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

Your happiness depends on what you do in relation to the Word. Those who think they are deceiving the Almighty are actually deceiving themselves. After all, God sees people’s heart and not the mask of self-righteousness that some of them put on. The Father knows those who trust in Him and serve Him. You may have been a “holy” sinner so far, a real deceiver, but consecrate yourself to the Lord now.

The Scriptures also teaches that God is not mocked, and it also states: Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). So it is better to have Him as your stronghold because in the day of trouble, He will work in your favor. The Almighty keeps those who let Him be God in their lives. Thus, He is glorified and takes pleasure in the success of His children.
