“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.    Isaiah 63.3

The most important work in History was accomplished by Jesus without anyone with Him or helping Him, except the Father. This serves us as a lesson, for, when we receive a mission, we must accomplish it. If no helper was given you, go by yourself and do what you were told, with happiness and precision. The perfect God will never send any person without equipping them with the necessary tools for such work.

One of the devil´s tricks to prevent us from assuming our place in Christ and do what we were told, like preach salvation to our family and deliverance from the problems that afflict us, is to make us feel lonely in the battles and therefore come out defeated. Now, the Word that you were given has the power for you to fulfill with excellence the divine command. Therefore, don’t be fooled by the devil.

Isaiah prophesied the example that the Son of God would give us when He would strip the devil off the authority he had taken away from men, speaking as something He had already done by Himself. More or less 700 years later, this revelation was fulfilled just like God had told him. The Word sent to you will do what it told you. Therefore, never consider the command of God impossible, but go ahead and do your part.

It doesn’t matter if your pastor does not assist you in accomplishing the command of the Lord, or if your spouse does not believe like you do, or if nobody helps you out. If you trust in the Most High, march and be certain that you will win. Be careful not to make the true God undergo as a liar. Should He say something that would not happen, the responsibility for that fault would be His. However, if you don’t believe, the responsibility is yours.

The prophet painted a warlike context to explain how to battle having God go ahead, saying that He had tread them in His anger and trampled the enemy in His fury. The Almighty had in mind to defeat the enemy which had deceived man, and thus, taken over the power given to mankind. Likewise, we must obey the will of the Father and accomplish the mission like Jesus did.

The above verse says that the blood that stained the glorious garments of Christ, symbolizing that our garments must also bear the victory marks we achieve. It is important that you do the work wholeheartedly and just like the Word commands. Those who disobey the biblical guidelines, not only do they despise God´s counsels, but they also will have to pay for their error.

Our garments are the robes we managed to achieve by giving ear to the Word: the understanding of who we are and what we can do – the faith in God -, the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the right to use the Name of Jesus. When you understand what you must do, fulfill the divine command. Then, you will see that it is easy to serve the Lord.

In Christ, with love,

Victorious Lord! We do not have to be worried if nobody helps us in the execution of Your will. If that was necessary and the only way to please You, then You would have put this orientation in Your Word.

We have to tread the winepress and You will be with us. Even if we don’t have anybody with us, You will never abandon or despise us. We want to fulfill Your purpose in the power of Your Spirit. Thank You, Lord!

The important thing is to tread on the winepress with anger and furiously smash the works of the devil, just like Jesus did when He conquered our salvation. We want to have the garments stained with what we will conquer during the battles. Use us for Your glory. Amen!
