01/09/2015 - DOMINATED BY PROSTITUTION

This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, "I’ve done nothing wrong". Proverbs 30:20

What goes on in a heart of a person during temptation is very important. If the person resists and does not accept the evil offers, she is not to blame for what was offered to her. But, if she likes it, and gives into temptation despite the testimony of the Word and the Holy Spirit, she needs to repent, according to the bible. Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2) and places us under the authority of the evil one.

Many times, the children of the Most High are thrown in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10), so that they come out with more experience and prepared to help those that haven’t learned how to overcome temptation. When temptation comes, the person has not sinned yet and she is not responsible for what has come to her mind and wasn’t accepted. However, the person cannot allow it to enter into her heart; she must resist so that she will come out victorious when the trial is over.

Many fall into sin, which is very sad. Then, they choose to lie and deny what they have done, thus, they despise the work of the Holy Spirit, who convinces them of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8).  He who had the courage to commit an error will also have the bravery to confess his transgression. Sin is like the worst cancer in a person; if the person doesn’t go through exams and gets treated by the doctor, she will certainly die.

He who does not listen to the Most High accepts the demon that put her down as the lord of his life. From then on, it’s a series of falls, problems and sufferings that the person goes through. Even if the person thinks that nobody is seeing her, if she commits any wrongdoing, she is actually opening a door for the evil powers to act in her life. Only he who confesses everything achieves mercy (Proverbs 28:13) and forgiveness, and therefore, she is able to get away from evil.

The sign that you have allowed the evil spirit to take over your soul are the bad events that have been taking place in your life. The disregard for God´s voice, which persuades you from the error and leads you to repent is the worst stupidity practiced by the sinner. She did not have repulsion in stealing, betraying her spouse or harming thy neighbor, and since she is dominated by the enemy she does not repent, for she doesn’t consider the outcome of her actions.

How many times Judas Iscariot must have looked at Jesus and felt that his stealing (John 12:4-6) would make him be possessed by Satan, but since he did not repent, one day he was dominated by this vile being and he betrayed the Master (Matthew 26.14-16, 47-50)! Have you felt from God that you needed to stop committing your mistakes, but you continued sinning? Or that you had to seek your spouse and confess your failure, but you didn’t? Do not exchange your eternal happiness for nothing.

If you have transgressed and pretend nothing has happened, even if you pray to God asking for forgiveness, your end will be just like the one of Judas, for divine justice needs to be fulfilled fully. Only genuine repentance, with confession, will deliver you from eternal condemnation. This is the best moment to come back to the Lord´s presence.

In Christ, with love,

Sovereign Lord! Deliver us from temptations, for we have done everything wrong: stolen, lied or betrayed our spouse. We do not want to betray along with the enemy, for we are Yours. You are Holy, and we have to be holy too. Help us!

We don’t understand why you allow us to enter the furnace of affliction, but You have allowed this to happen so that we may come out with more experience and ready to help those that haven’t learned how to overcome temptations. Guide us when temptation comes.

If we sin, we cannot allow the enemy to complete his malefic work. We understand that we need to confess and be forgiven by You and by the person whom we have dishonored. I pray that today may be the day of complete deliverance for this reader. Amen!
