03/08/2016 - DONT JOIN THE WICKED

 And he spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart now from the tents of these wicked men! Touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.”  Numbers16:26

The rebellion against the Word of God began in Eden, when the first woman gave ear to the serpent, and so did Adam, who should have rebuked her, but instead, he ate from the same fruit. This sin remains in our days, leading many anointed people to despise God´s decisions. After a long time, these people come to the conclusion that their attitude was incorrect. However, very little or nothing can be done. 

The devil made Korah, Dathan, and Abiram gather together against Moses. But, in truth, they did so against the Lord. Therefore, they paid a very high price. Many people receive counsel from the enemy in our days and also rise up against the divine plan in order to stop the advancement of the work of God. This is very sad! However, there is still time to repent and be delivered from the eternal punishment. 

They managed to gather along with them 250 leaders of the congregation. Thus, the rebellion was already poisoning the whole camp, which caused Moses to be surprised with such great boldness. They challenged the Almighty! If they continued then they would feel the wrath of God, for all those who are led by the devil are blind, and because of that, they are able to lead a rebellion against the anointed of the Lord. 

If Moses had not cried out in favor of the congregation, the Israelites who joined the plan of those three rebels would surely be killed that very day. To show that they were ready to take over the leadership of the people of God, they made a multitude stand round about the tent of the leaders, as a declaration that they had their support. However, who can act against the plans of the Most High if not even Lucifer could? 

God heard Moses and sent a message to those who surrounded the tents of the rebellious leaders: they should stop with that movement, for a great work would be done. However, as always, the error blinds the people. Although they knew God spoke to Moses face to face and, in other period of times, the judgment of the Lord had come, they believed that in that moment things would be different, but they ended up paying with their own lives. 

Moses and Aaron, the elders of Israel, told the people to move away from those men so that they would not perish in their sins. The people understood the message given and backed away; however, Dathan and Abiram, in a very crazy decision, got their wives and children and stood right beside their tents. Instead of bowing to the judgment of the Lord, they challenged Him. In any situation, just cry out for mercy! 

Moses announced that the punishment would be unlike anything they had ever seen. He said that the land would swallow them alive and as soon as he finished talking, the ground split apart under them and took their lives. If you have been disobedient, repent right away. Tomorrow may be too late!
