Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,  1 Peter 5:6

This message is for the young ones in faith, called to do the will of God, but still without enough experience to resist the onslaughts of the enemy. There is time for all things (Ec 3:1), and most definitely, if the ones who are immature persevere, one day, they will be used by the Lord like Paul and the other apostles were. Therefore, we must care for those the Lord God calls to take part in the ministry.

The order is for the immature to submit to those who have done the work for a longer period of time. That is because they have gone through several trials and they remained firm in the fear of the Lord, and did not give in to seductions, to the offers of the corrupters and to the lies of the enemy.  Thus, they can help a lot those who are taking their first steps in the beautiful journey of faith in Jesus.

Have in mind that humility is a virtue that everyone needs to be dressed with. Through it, we walk in the steps of Jesus, who, despite being God, did not care about being rejected by His own people and humbled Himself to the point of death, the death of cross (Phi 2:8). He did all of this for the Father to be pleased with Him. We must do the same, in order to fulfill our mission.

Those who turn to their pride, or to its sisters, will see that God will resist them. If this happens to us, what will it be of us? Never let your heart to rise. If this happens, you will think that the Lord uses you because you are better than the other people. Now, who is man for God to visit him or honor him (Psalm 8:4)? Be an imitator of Jesus, and don’t try to be someone who you will never be able to be.

Don’t get impatient if you are still not doing something big, for the time when you will be used will certainly come. Divine grace will be given to you for you to accomplish your calling, if you remain in the position the holy ones must be in. Those who let themselves be dominated by humility will not repent such decision. The proof that will show you are mature can be difficult, but struggle to be approved.

God´s powerful hand can only exalt those who remain submissive to the biblical precepts, for those who rebel against the Omnipotent´s decisions will find out later, that they were deceived by the biggest liar. Let the Lord guide you. Prepare yourself for success, for He leads us in triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14). No matter how difficult or time consuming your trial is, do not rise up against the will of God.

You calling is for you to march on until the very end. Do not allow anything to prevent you from following Christ. Do what He commanded you. Then, when your journey here on Earth ends, you will receive the crown of justice (that He, the righteous Lord, prepared for those who fulfill His plans) and you will live with the Savior forever.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

God, our Teacher! Thank You for the message given in Your Word, directed to the young in faith. They were called to fulfill Your will, but they need to be spiritually mature.

Likewise, we need Your help to face the temptations that have led Your servants to defeat. May we know how to make good use of time so that we may learn from You. Thus, we will be the reason for joy.

May those who have experience have care and consideration with the young ones in the ministry, so that they may learn to do the work wisely and may truly serve You. We love You, Lord!
