Of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. Hebrews 5.11

The reason that there may be uncountable sins and failures of all kinds in the midst of many Christian groups is the lack of correct teaching of the Holy Scriptures, or the negligence of some people to listen to what the Lord is telling them. The Almighty cannot do anything beyond what he promises us; therefore, one of the reasons why we are ordered to preach the Good News is so that the people may learn their rights in Christ and claim them.

The lack of care in regards to what the Bible teaches about health has led many to be incapacitated for work, always in medical and psychiatric treatments, or leaving early for eternity. Whoever does not do everything to bless the Lord opens the door for the devil to attack him and defeat him with his evil. Jesus’ warning is that we may keep what we have, so that no one might take our crown (Rv 3.11).

The only explanation for some Christians lack in prosperity is the neglect in tithing, offering, and supporting the divine work. The lack of fulfillment of the ordinances from Heaven concerning the work of God inhibits the power of the Most High to execute His promises. Whoever does not obey what the Lord says, whenever he needs, will see that his omission or rebellion makes it impossible for the divine hand to operate in his favor.

The carelessness in remaining chaste, holy, and dedicated to the Almighty makes worldliness invade the church, degenerates society, and leaves the lost imprisoned spiritually. If the children of God lose the zeal for His Word, the operations of the enemy start to abound. The lack of care of Christians in presenting themselves as approved workers of the Gospel leaves a breach for the temptations to oppress and dominate the power of God.

The Church of Jesus cannot be sterile, without freeing sinners and the problematic. It must be the embassy of Truth, where God operates constantly; a place of deliverance, where all the problems are solvable in the Lord. However, since His People are not taught in the Truth, many of them have let themselves be led by temptations and have fallen in sin, shaming the work of the Heavenly Father.

The careless are burying the talents that could lead them to experiment the best that God gives (Mt 25.25-27). The carelessness of many has made them become servants of the devil, filling them with all kinds of mistake and suffering. In the last Day, in which we will be made accountable, they will see how much it will cost the lack of zeal with what God revealed them. Burying a talent is one of the worst sins that someone can commit.

Do not let the devil leave you careless in God’s business. In the Scriptures, you find out what you are supposed to do. Therefore, do not accept the evil one’s suggestions. The Lord is not a God of confusion and what He has told you will remain forever as His will for your life (1 Co 14.33).
