But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? Exodus 3.11

We cannot condemn Moses for what he said. When he heard from the Lord that he should go to Egypt, and take the people away from there, he understood that the mission was impossible if done by man’s strength alone. So he sought to know more about God when he made this question. He knew well the force of that empire. After all, he had been raised in the palace as part of the royal family. However, God knew more than he did.

The Most High worked on Moses’ mentality; since he knew what the human power could do if he did not recognize the divine glory. It is evident that he was fascinated to see the fire not burning the bush, but without God’ understanding, it would impossible to believe completely. It is obvious that once the Most High ordered Moses to take His people out of Egypt, He would use him to do so. Hallelujah!

Many times, we stumble because we don’t understand what we should do, even being ordered by Jesus to go unto the world and announce the Gospel to every creature. The truth is that we want to go, but in many nations it is prohibited to talk about Christ. Now, the stern persecution for those who share the divine love make us hesitate, for there are stories of people who lost their lives for the “crime” of speaking the Truth. We want to be faithful, and in order to be so, we need the Lord’s mercy.

Moses felt the weight of the task and began giving a series of excuses. At that moment, he was just a shepherd. How would he be able to speak to the king of the greatest country of the world in those times and convince him to allow the children of Israel to be set free from slavery? The answer from God is the same to us today: “I will go with you”. The servant of the Lord could not doubt, but he “negotiated”. Perhaps we are doing the same or even worse than him.

The future deliverer didn’t know what to say, so he made those questions until he was certain that he was really the divine representative for that mission. If the Lord gives you a mission, do not fear, for He is ready to go ahead of you and open doors. Now, the Omnipotent would never put you in an embarrassing situation. Thus, live in communion with Him and give every step under His orientation.

Moses had a curiosity that he needed to clarify. The Most High said that He was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but what was His Name? When he made this question, the answer was: “I am who I am”. Only the Lord is God, and only He has all power and is the Truth. The Word is what He is, therefore we should fulfill its orientations. Whenever we do anything in His Name, He will take the reins and will do whatever is necessary for His plan to be fulfilled.

Do not forget the Name that we know nowadays as Jesus, the Savior. He is the greatest Force in the Universe. Only He has power! As we execute His orders in His Name, we are covered by His authority. If the work seems impossible, we will make it happen! Do not doubt. Even now, in the Name of Jesus, rebuke all evil and be freed. Halleluiah!

In Christ, with love,

Eternal Lord! Who has the power to block Your action or to inflict You with a defeat? Your Name is ours forever, therefore we will stand up now to destroy the power of the enemy. Today, we expel all evil in the Name of Jesus.

By Your Name we demand that the forces of darkness that came against us and our families leave now. I say to all sicknesses – cancer, leprosy, allergy, etc. – “leave now, in the Name of the Lord”. Thus, we declare ourselves free.

Thank you for calling us to do Your will. The Gospel will be shared to all the world, and those who are needy will listen and be converted. In Your Name, the powers of evil will be destroyed, and the lost will gain the capacity to hear You.
