Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 7.13

It is a great folly to despise the power we have in prayer. If we do so, besides being hindered from enjoying the blessings of the Lord, we also make His heart sad. In His plans to all of His children, the Most High planned that nothing should lack. However, if we do not follow His orientations, His power cannot operate in our favor. Now, why should we not use His authority, if it will free us from our afflictions?

The battle between good and evil is unending. In every moment, the enemy is planning something against us. If we trust in the Word, we will not face any problem. However, if we stop believing in it and don’t fulfill what was proposed to us as commandments, we will be vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Our walk of faith was planned to be smooth and perfect.

The Lord does not have anything else to do concerning our right to live well and enjoy everything that Jesus conquered for us in His death. Our Father does not need to fight with the devil to make us obtain what is ours by right. We also do not need to enter in such a fight. If we resist the temptations, they will flee from us (Ja 4.7). We need to take hold of what was prepared and delivered to us.

The promise made by Christ is that everything that we determine in His Name will be done. Thus, since these words left His lips, they cannot be undone or cancelled. It does not matter if evil attacks us. We can demand, in the Name of our Savior, for all evil to leave our life right when it comes against us. Our order, given in the Name of Jesus, is as powerful as when the Lord gave it personally.

Those who do not pay attention to the Lord’s orientation – what the Bible calls His clamor –, one day when they most need it, they will cry but not be heard. This is a spiritual law that will be always fulfilled. Therefore, stay alert so that this does not happen to you. Undoubtedly, the devil will do everything for you to commit the foolishness of not paying attention to God’s orders, because then, you will also not be attended.

On the other hand, if you fulfill the divine orders, do not be apprehensive to exert your authority and demand the enemy to stop bothering or attacking you immediately. Obedient servants will never lack the Lord’s assistance, for He is faithful. Now, the prayers from those who do not pay attention to the divine commandments are not recognized. Therefore, why should someone who is on his proper state of mind not obey the Almighty?

What we are learning through this word is purely a heavenly orientation. Therefore, be an exemplary student, and then, see that the Most High fulfills His promises. The best thing is never to be out of the divine plan. Then, we may be certain that He will never stop attending us.
