24/01/2016 - FAITH AND HOPE IN THE RIGHT PERSON

….who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.    1 Peter1:21

The process idealized by God to save us was difficult for our eyes to understand, but it was perfect. Today, we are free from our enemies and we can live holiness, enjoying communion with the Creator and also not cause any harm to any person. By believing in God, we lead many people to also take part in the divine nature. The cause of all this was Jesus´ obedience until death on the cross on our behalf.

By sending His Son to the world, the Father had mankind´s salvation in mind. The price was very high, but His happiness in rescuing us from eternal perdition compensated all the sacrifice His Beloved Son endured. For all eternity, we will be on God´s side, taking part of His glory and eternal plan. Without a doubt, the Lord did the very best for us and He did not care about the price He would have to pay. He truly loves us.

The greatest tragedy of mankind is not Adam´s sin; not knowing the work fulfilled by Christ is certainly the greatest one. The insane attitude of the first man brought the devil into the world. Now, the noble act of Jesus of letting aside His glory, His prerogatives of God, and being born and living like man, exposing Himself to all types of temptation and not giving in to any of them, should be studied and accepted, for it is incomparable in all senses. 

Through Christ, we believe in God. Those people who profess several religions do not experience this, although some of them even give their own life to their belief. Their charity works are honorable, but that doesn’t mean they believe in the Lord, just as long periods or prayer or abstinence do not confer a title of servant of the Most High. The faith in the Almighty God is the greatest gift we receive from Him. 

Salvation´s work was complete in itself, and through it, we come to the Father to receive forgiveness of our sins and consequently eternal life. We only have to preach this to the other people, for there is no other subject of such great importance that deserves our precious time. Put all that you are, all that you know and can do so that someone might awake and receive salvation, for that is the best way we can love God. 

Jesus was given glory, which we don’t know much but it causes our faith and hope to be in God. He is all that we can believe in, and His work of salvation is much greater than we can understand. In Him there is life, the anointing and the certainty that we will not be confused in His coming. It is very sad, but the truth is that those who are followers and practice other beliefs will be confused when He returns. 

If the Most High worked so much since the fall of man for the manifestation of His Son to the world, what wouldn’t He do today to enlighten people? We cannot hinder His plan and choose greed, arrogance and other flaws instead of the Lord´s will.
