As fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!  Isaiah 64.2

Doing God’s works involves a spiritual process of which we are not always aware. This verse speaks about fire burning brushwood and causing water to boil. This happens always when we receive a blessing, for, everything the Lord gives us many things take place in the spiritual world, and then we are rewarded with that which we call “miracle”. Therefore, I am writing this message so that it may happen to you.

It is necessary that we take the piece of wood that God has shown us in His Land—His Word—just like Moses did, who found a piece of wood and threw it into the waters of Marah, which the Israelites could not drink, for they were bitter. As soon as the Lord’s servant used his faith, the water became fit to drink, and the Israelites could quench their thirst. In this verse, God is instructing us to set the brushwood on fire, so that his waters—revelations from his Word— will boil. As a result, his works will be within our reach.

We are warned that, “where there is no wood, the fire goes out” (Proverbs 26.20). This is why we often have to climb God’s mountain to bring wood to support our ministry, which needs to be put to test, as being of the Lord. The fire’s purpose is to burn the wood, setting his revelation on fire, so that the water is boiled; then, when we command the evil one to leave or stop his works, he will obey us.

The purpose is much greater than just receive blessings—something that should be sought and which we will receive if we believe: make Jesus’ name known, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. When our adversaries, who are oppressing us, see the process being completed they will flee in desperation. There is no battle which faithful and obedient Christians will enter without obtaining the victory at the end. Actually, we have already won all our battles since Christ’s resurrection.

For lack of understanding, many Christians are being deceived by the evil one and, even though they pray, fast or cry out to the Lord, very little or nothing happens. Did this happen to Jesus, our example? No! Jesus guaranteed that we would do the same works He did (John 14.12), for, being perfect, he knew how to extract the wood and cast it into the fire, and once the water boiled he would simply command paralyzed people to take their beds and walk.

I believe God is opening our understanding so that great works can be done. Very soon, an entire generation of fearless servants of the Lord will arise and then, with no works of desperation, God’s power will do awesome works. We need this in our daily lives, since man’ religions prevent millions of people from partaking in God’s glory, and hell is the only thing benefiting from this, since it is more and more crowded each day.

The spiritual nations which have dominion over mankind have to tremble before the majestic works that our God has started to do. His presence has been felt during the meetings where the full gospel is preached. No longer is there place for the devil’s placebo – something invented to fool the unsuspecting and innocent.
