16/03/2016 - FLEE FROM TRANSGRESSION

He who loves transgression loves strife, and he who exalts his gate seeks destruction.  Proverbs 17.19

There are people that love confusion. They quarrel and sometimes even fight, because they like to show that they are in the right side of reason. If it depends on them, they will always unmask what they think is wrong. They will do everything they can to be right in any matter. However, the transgression that the Word refers to is much greater that these quarrels: it is about an eternal transgression.

The great transgression started in the Eden when the devil deceived Adam and Eve (Gn 3.1). Today, there are many people who are deceived and become part of this great transgression, which will have a disastrous end. The children of God must be prudent and not enter in this situation which brought the enemy to our world, and at the same time, separated us from the Father.

The wise – those who fear the Almighty – are always alert, and the moment when they receive a proposal, they seek to follow God’s testimony. Then, with wisdom from High, they are separated in order not to be persuaded by the evil one. For those who fulfill the wonderful Word there is only godly peace. However, for the wicked – those who do not fear God –, peace does not exist.

Defend yourself from the devil’s proposals, as Jesus did in the desert. As always, the prince of darkness used the Scriptures in a twisted way, and he still does so in an attempt to deceive the faithful. The way that he acts is always the same, bringing conflicts to your mind. The enemy is so pernicious that whenever people listen to him, even with the slightest interest, they are already contaminated by his venomous arrows. Stay away from him!

Satan has been successful in deceiving many people. The lack of preparation in the Truth leads many unwise people to examine their tactics and be led by the father of lies. Then, once they are corrupted, they lose the fear of God, and reach out for the forbidden fruit, as did Eve. They see that the fruit is good, pleasant to the eyes, and desired to give understanding (Gn 3.6).

Never open your door to someone who is not sent by the Lord, and never extol this person, for it may be your ruin. The demons are looking for people to deceive them from the paths of salvation, and therefore, lead them to eternal perdition. You must be cautious in order not to be misled, for whoever gives credit to the devil will, one day, desperately listen to their condemnation. Then, even if they repent, there will be no forgiveness.

You please God when you become quiet and let Him act (Ex 14.14). Becoming quiet means not using your own arguments, and letting the Lord act means employing what He says in His Word. You can give a full stop to your suffering if you use the Holy Book and believe in what will be fulfilled.

In Christ, with love,

Most High God! We do not want to love strife or transgression. In order to undo the sin that came from our ancestors in Paradise, You had to send Your only Son to die in our place.

We thank You for having undone the transgression and accepted the sacrifice of Jesus. Thus, we may now enter in Your presence without fear, but with respect. What we most want is to make good use of the work of Christ and to be part of Your family.

We will not open our door to the enemy. With Your help and Your power, we will shut it to his attacks and will declare that we are Your closed garden. We are grateful that you love us and that you allow us to know You as our Father!
