12/06/2014 - FOOLISH ATITTUDE OF THE WICKED

When such a person hears the words of this oath, he invokes a blessing on himself and therefore thinks: "I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way" Deuteronomy 29.19

The Israelites got into the Covenant of the Lord when they were called by Moses to be before God. They were supposed to keep the Covenant words in order to be part of it. The same thing must happen to us concerning the New Covenant through which we are offered the forgiveness of our sins, the healing of diseases and the Almighty´s protection. Otherwise, we are out of this wonderful agreement made through the blood of Jesus (Lk 22.20).

There are people who think they are capable of running away from oaths without divine intervention. They are completely wrong, for the only possible way for mankind to get free from the evil’s attack is by serving God. Faith in Christ is an unbridgeable fortress where we can take refuge from the enemy. Poor is the one who thinks that he/she can find a way to get free from satanic deeds other than salvation provided on the cross!

Man being separated from God comes to certain conclusions that are likely infants’ ones. He acts like a foolish man, therefore he considers himself special. One of the attitudes is to think that he can find peace even though he’s following the wickedness of his heart. Unconsciously, his sin opens the door for the enemy to come in and destroy everything. The truth is that only the one who walks along with the Almighty can stay free.

The people of God cannot give in to both physical and spiritual drunkenness. Although it might seem simple and up to each one decide if they should do it or not, the Lord has prohibited his people to take all kind of fermented drinks, as when the angel of the Lord came to Zechariah and announced that his wife, Elizabeth would have a baby (Luke 1.13-15). Drinks and doctrines different from the biblical ones should be avoided because they drive people into both physical and spiritual abnormality.

Due to the huge evil of the one who acts that way, whoever sins deliberately takes a risk of not being forgiven (Heb 10.26-31). If this has been occurring to you somehow, stop it as soon as possible. When sin is committed unintentionally, but the person confesses it and repents and doesn’t commit it again, then the person is forgiven and delivered from the devil that tempted her.

The Lord warns that He will burn his wrath and zeal, as well as the curses described in Scriptures, against those who intentionally sins until they have their names blot out under heaven (Dt 29.20). Therefore, never let Satan lead you into mistakes. Those who don’t hear the Word of the Lord will face so many troubles.
