Sing, o daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem Zephaniah 3:14

If somebody who is being evangelized passes close to Christians while these are praying, there will be doubts as to what was taught about the goodness of the Lord.  It is very likely to be able to hear several of them murmuring or moaning that their problems have increased and besides not being cured by God.

Could it be that the Lord deceives those who believe in Him and in the many promises made in the Scriptures? What to mention of the examples left by the Master of masters who cured all and solved so many mishaps? Can we do what he did? Have we not understood the biblical teachings or are we trying to change the way He acted to force Him to attend us?  It seems like various questions need to be answered.

We must understand how God operates, because even if there be faith, if there is no knowledge, the Lord can’t do much for those who seek his aid.  Because they do not know their rights nor how to exercise them, God’s people are destroyed and His promises aren’t fulfilled.  Even though we are sincere, we do not take caution to cease the practices that we like but we prevent the Almighty from interceding in our favor.  We must copy the model as shown.

By calling us daughter of Zion, Israel, daughter of Jerusalem, God treats us as the Church of Jesus and teaches us to sing joyfully, to rejoice and to triumph.  He teaches us to remain in his presence.  We must never let sadness reign in our lives, for we have been delivered from the powers of darkness and for this reason we cannot allow that the works of evil overpower us again.

The mouths of the saved must always sing joyfully and delight in the works done by Jesus in favor of humanity, because what he did is much greater than we can imagine.  However, as we read the Scriptures and understand what belongs to us, we have to conduct ourselves in such a manner that the joy of the Lord shows forth in us and for us.  These virtues come from God and the divine exultation being in us, we will have the power of the Almighty operating in our lives.

Why be sad or accept that anything comes to take away your joy? If you allow sadness or any other negative feeling to enter into your life you will certainly miss the presence of God. As part of the Church of Jesus, constantly rejoice, since as a believer in Him you are delivered from all evil and enjoy access to God’s possessions.  Never allow the enemy to use you to overshadow the glory of God in you.

For all in all, above all do not deny your heart a blessing that will make you healthy and happy.  Rejoice with all your heart!  Remember, you are the daughter of Zion, the Israel of God, the daughter of Jerusalem.  So live singing joyfully, rejoicing, exulting and delighting in the Holy Spirit.  If God gave you His Spirit, do not live as a slave to the devil.  Mercy!

In Christ, with love,

Lord of the Church!  You must remain sad with our behavior and this is not good!  Even though we may have acted by faith, with no knowledge of how to do your work, what we have done is unnecessary! With Your help we will not fail.

We must sing joyfully to show we believe in Your Word.  This way we will not stumble over the obstacles placed before us and consequently the other people that hear of our success will also want to seek You.

Thank you for calling us daughter of Zion.  If Jesus had not been sacrificed on the cross we would all be children of the enemy. Help us to understand what we have in your promises and declarations. Thank you for what you have done for us. Amen!
