They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 1 Peter 4:5

We must equip ourselves with thoughts that are formed while we listen to the Word of God. Everything that it teaches us, even if it is a reprehension, is a blessing that cannot be forgotten. One day, we will be accountable to He who is prepared to judge the living and the dead. Then, we will not be able to give any excuses. Therefore, today is the best day for you to get things right with the Lord and escape condemnation.

Everyone has a specific life time on Earth and must enjoy what remains of it. However, we must all be aware that we cannot be far away from God and expect everything to go well in the Judgment Day. Whoever shuts his ears to the Lord’s message will find out that they shut His ears to them as well. He who excludes the Most High from his life makes a dreadful decision, because when Judgment comes, he will be condemned.

It is important to live without being captivated by the wicked desires of then flesh of the life of those who are lost. The Lord created the pleasures for our full satisfaction, but He also made the limits, so that we do not get lost in the devil’s filthiness. Whomever says, “the body is mine”, and does whatever he wants, must in fact read the Bible to understand that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). The Most high will judge those who give in to prostitution in all different levels.

Before knowing the divine will, sinners used to do the will of the flesh. However, when they are set free of the kingdom of darkness, they start to seek and fulfill the Lord’s purpose. The Word warns us: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). The enemy will do everything he can to enslave you again, inciting you to live in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries and abominable idolatries (1 Peter 4:3).

Those who are lost in sin find it very odd that we do not live in sin, since that is their purpose in life. They surrender to every kind of immorality, for they have not yet been reached by God’s love. Though we may encourage them to be delivered from this evil practice, it´s simply not enough. Those who have the Spirit of God must lead them to Christ, exercising the authority in the holy Name of Jesus, and present to them true freedom.

Everyone will be accountable to the Lord for his or her actions. He is prepared to be seated on the throne and judge the living and the dead. Today, Christ is our Advocate, but after our death, we will be standing face to face with Him, when He will no longer have the role of an Advocate, but of a Judge. Then, what will you say when your time comes? You will not be able to deceive anyone, for your mouth will be wide open, and in fear and trembling, you will tell the entire truth. However, unfortunately, then it will be too late.

The fact that Jesus preaches the Gospel to the dead reveals the importance of His sacrificial work to all people. Those who had died before Christ defeated the devil and conquered salvation for humanity waited to hear the Good News, because then, they would be able to live according to God in the spirit (1 Peter 4:6).

In Christ, with love,

God, Author of our salvation! The work fulfilled by Your Son in our favor was the best that could have been done. As Jesus shed His blood, taking our place at the cross, He paid the complete price to set us free, save us, and walk in freedom.

We cannot live according to the wicked desires of men, but according to Your will. We suffered a lot when we did the will of the flesh and of the enemy. However, now we aim to please You for Your praise!

We desire to be led by Your wonderful and good Spirit; thus, with our whole hearts, we ask You for complete deliverance. Remove from us what is useless and keeps us captive to the enemy. We thank You and we love You. Amen!
