Open for me the gates of righteousness; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD. Psalm 118.19

The Lord God is not mean, for He doesn’t only bless some people and doesn’t care about the others. Those who are sent to preach the Gospel know their responsibility in giving the message correctly and clear so that the lost, the sick and all the other sufferers can be reached by the divine grace. If we do that well, we will be rewarded by the Lord; otherwise, we will be responsible for the transgression.

The success or failure of mankind depends on the Christians. We can’t blame the religions or accuse the people for not wanting to change their lives. Some people would do anything to be able to know the Truth in order to have peace, health, prosperity in their lives and also be happy. However, Satan, who enslaves the people, plugs up their ears and blocks their knowledge in order to not let them understand that it’s easy to be of God’s people.

When people are fortunate enough to find a true servant of the Lord, they receive the revelation of the Holy Spirit and consequently abandon the old religion of fear and formalism, turning to Jesus and going through a complete change. This is what has happened in Brazil, everyday people embrace the gospel and leave out the liturgical ritualism, which can even be rich and diverse, but produces no good.

Poor person, who is called and prepared to represent the Lord, but gets carried away by sin or the normal issues of life! This citizen will pay a high price for his disobedience that no doubt about it will not compensate the negligence. The Word of God warns us: A curse on him who is lax in doing the LORD’s work! A curse on him who keeps his sword from bloodshed! (Jeremiah 48.10a). On the other hand, it’s very good and rewarding to do it the right way. 

The writer of this Psalm was clear in asking that the doors of justice – the revelation of what belongs to you in Christ – opened to him; and also ensured that he would make use of them. Here is the secret that will make any individual a winner: request that the Word, that will take you to the divine cellar for you to take possession of what is yours, be revealed. In the salvation accomplished by Jesus, we have everything prepared waiting for us.

Friend, when God opens the doors of the gate of righteousness, or opens just one door, go in and get satisfied with the revelation announced to you. The revelation that gets to your understanding brings along everything that is necessary in order for the blessings to appear in your life. The Almighty expects, that at the end, you praise Him for opening the door for you.

Pray for the Lord to give you knowledge in order to help you understand what has already been made available to those who are accepted as members of the divine family. This is the truth: the blessings you need have already been provided. Go, take possession of what is yours and be satisfied with the divine kindness.
