So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:4

Sometimes it seems we will be wiped from the map, for we are subdued by shame and humiliation.  However, as members of the Body of Christ, we have from the Lord the instructions for action.  If we follow them, the enemy will be defeated, and lose the capacity to wound or to threaten us.  We must live away and free from the evil deceptions, because we are already in the Kingdom of God, and therefore saved from the attacks from Hell.

If we are attacked, like Judah by a confederation, and we fear for our lives, we will receive instructions to obtain victory if we seek the face of God.  Curse will not come without cause (Proverbs 26:2).  Having done our part, the Lord will move to act and the adversary and his devils will be ashamed and destroyed. 

It is good to have the Family saved and living in sanctification, so that we can pray together.  This will keep us from being wiped out.  So let the battles come, prepare so that your entire house is converted to Christ and be ready to do battle in His Name when evil attacks.  Victory is for those who know the Lord and their position in Him.  Always follow the teachings in the Scriptures.  

Jehoshaphat had made a foolish alliance with the family of Ahab, allowing his son to marry the daughter of the wicked king (2 Chronicles 18:1).  Due to this, things started to become difficult.  Don’t suffer the same.  Undoubtedly the enemy will try to oppress you in the same way.  Do not use your natural strength but use that which God gave you in prayer. This way, the devil cannot succeed in your life or of any of those in your family. 

King Jehoshaphat called to all of Judah to seek help from the Lord.  The nation was gathered in Jerusalem and other cities in fasting, prayer, and pleas (2 Chronicles 20:3,4). This pleased God who heard the cry of His people and sent an answer.  The Almighty never fails and always answers those that seek His help.  Right now if there is any threat over your life or that of your family, speak to the heavenly Father and with faith believe that He will do as he has promised.

The Almighty said that they should fight differently, even though the number of adversaries was great.  Those who trust in the Lord do not overrate the opposition but also do not neglect their responsibilities.  The Bible is clear as it says that you must believe and declare the destruction of the evil that torments you.  This is the certain and true way to praise God and fulfill His Word: acting according to His instructions.

As we gather to seek help from the Lord, we must pray the prayer that obtains answers, binds the adversary and leads us to victory.  If we cry out in this way, we will not only be successful in our intention, but will also see the adversary destroyed.  Judah had to do nothing, but carry away the enormous booty. Halleluiah!
