Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces. Exodus 15.6

When the people of God crossed the Red Sea, Moses saw God’s greatness in operation like never before. The wind that blew the entire night from east to west, separating the water of the sea in two columns, did not make any of the Hebrews stumble in their way. Though there were elders and children, none of them had problems with the strong wind.

For the leader of God’s people, the power of the Lord – His right hand – operated in glorious power. This can happen to anyone who believes in the Lord, for whenever there is need and the people of God call out to Him, He will be ready to do the same wonders. With the Most High, there will never be a problem without a solution. If needed, His right hand will be glorious in power.

The work that He did to open that sea and form two columns of water, which remained firm until the last of the Hebrews had crossed, was something uncommon. It showed how powerful the Most High is to accomplish any wonder. If any man tries to do this nowadays, now that engineering is well advanced, it will take years to build two columns of steel, with waterproof glasses, but God did this with the wind in only one night.

The right hand of the Omnipotent put Pharaoh to shame and dashed the enemy into pieces in the waters, when it went back to its place after His people had crossed. Never be afraid of the enemy that follows you in the path that the Lord has opened. When God gets close, He will be between you and your enemies, and when you get to safety, the columns of water will fall on them and destroy them.

Everything that happened in that day was a demonstration of how much our Father can do in our favor, as long as we are following His instructions. Therefore, do not faint when evil threatens you, for whoever has the Lord in their favor is never given to the power of hell. Remain firm in your faith and do not let any sin remain in your heart, so that when you pray, you may not be ashamed or deceived.

In the work of salvation done by Jesus, Satan and his demons suffered much more than Pharaoh and his special army. The nature of Satan – death – was destroyed in Christ’s victory. Today, we can live in freedom, far from the reach of darkness, and at the same time, we must announce the truth to all who do not know it.

What was seen in the manifestation of the power of God over the Egyptians in the Red Sea is a small demonstration of what the Savior did when He resurrected and what He will do when He comes for His Church. Never fear any threat from hell, for nothing that the devil says or threatens to do will prosper against those who believe in the Lord.
