Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers; who says to Jerusalem, ‘you shall be inhabited,’ to the cities of Judah, ‘you shall be built,’ and I will raise up her waste places. Isaiah 44:26

There is nothing better than being a servant that confirms the commandments that the Lord has given, because then, He confirms our words. However, those who hear what God wants and do not give themselves the trouble to do as they were ordered cannot count with the divine help to confirm what they have said. That is why many try to cast out demons that torment them and nothing happens.

It is very important to have your word confirmed by the Most High. On the contrary, it is impossible to do the same works that Jesus did. If the Father cannot ratify what you say, everything you think you are doing for His work will not be accepted as the fulfillment of your mission. God is not a mercenary that closes his eyes to what his employee does in exchange for his profit.

The declaration given by the Almighty through prophet Isaiah allows us to believe that He wants us to be successful. However, the prophet also declared that our iniquities separate us from our God, and that our sins cover His face so that he does not listen to us (Is 59.2). Therefore, remove now everything that separates you from the Lord. When there is no barrier that separates you from Him, He will confirm your determination.

It is easy to be used by the Omnipotent, provided that we choose to have a heart that is obedient to His orders. This choice is up to you to do it consciously. Those who are not Jesus’ servants will not have the divine confirmation to their resolutions. Now, if it is so good, productive, and necessary to have this privilege, why don’t you obey everything that you are ordered? It is worth obeying the Master.

God has something to tell you. He said that Jerusalem would be inhabited, and in the same way, that your liver will work perfectly, that your glands will produce properly, that your eyes do not stop seeing, and that your heart will beat regularly until the day when your spirit is taken from you. The Lord will order that your forces will remain steady until your last hour.

I always ask myself: if God is everything that He says, why shouldn’t I do what he orders? Now, the Bible says that no good will be withheld from those who walk righteously (Ps. 84:11). Thus, isn’t it time to assume a serious commitment with this All-Powerful Being?

This world will pass away, and so will the unrestrained desires, but those who do the Lord’s will remain forever. Therefore, be a servant of Jesus from now on, and the Lord will confirm your determination.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
