by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. Acts 4:30

The early church prayed that the Lord would look to the threats against the apostles by the religious authorities who wanted them to stop talking about the Name of Jesus.  After all, the miracles that accompanied theses teachings proved that the message of the Gospel came truly from Heaven.  As incredible as it might seem, today there are people who consider themselves saved and are against the miracle work of God.

The princes of the synagogue conferred with each other and came to the conclusion that they had to prohibit the disciples from continuing to do what Jesus had commanded, because the land would be converted and they would suffer great loss. There are hidden motives and interests behind every persecution.  The church must grow in biblical understanding to nullify in the Name of Christ, everything that rises against preaching the Good Word with power.

They asked that the Almighty would look at the threats that they suffered, but wanted Him to continue to stretch out His hand in order to heal.  This way, the signs, prodigies and wonders would be seen by all.  This must be our constant prayer at all times!  The acts of the Spirit of God are undeniable and encourage His servants to witness the Gospel, which they do until those that are opposed are converted.  Halleluiah!

 The Lord’s plan will not be stopped on the face of the Earth, unless we deny God the right to use us for the Holy Spirit to act, which He will never do.  The Almighty is the Creator of all things visible and invisible and has the power to use our lives at his will, just as he used Jesus.  Therefore, the church must not give in to the deceptions of the devil, and must completely fulfill the divine order.

The princes have risen in many places.  There are nations who have been oppressed by the devil for thousands of years leading people to madness and harmful acts in search for the truth.  They have the right to hear the message of the cross, which certifies that Satan was defeated.  Then, as they believe they are delivered from evil, healed from infirmities and saved from eternal perdition. We cannot retreat or delay because the loss will be tremendous.

God is stretching out His hand as never seen before.  We must only be fearless and strong, being consecrated and unflinching in faith in the Word, we will bring millions of people to salvation, delivered from demons and healed from their infirmities.  Why doubt or allow the adversary to rise up against our position in the Son of God?  The Almighty has all the power in Heaven and on Earth.

When they finished praying, the place where they were shook.  Who did this was saying that they would do anything for the message of the Gospel to reach the four corners of the planet.  The devil cannot keep us from carrying out the work of God, as long as we are ready to obey the Lord.
