I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word. Psalm 119.101

The evil paths are everywhere, adorned with many attractive things to those who don’t live in the presence of God, but in flesh. Many are those who are taken by temptation, which occurs in every aspect in the unstoppable desires of the human being.  Those who are not aware to the warnings in the Bible fall into the path of iniquity and completely lose the vision of the divine will that was given to them to become victorious.

It’s fit for each of us to examine ourselves and open our heart to God, in order to be free from the enemy’s works. Those who were called to be holy cannot be contaminated with the offers from the enemy. Satan tempted Jesus in everything, from the basic need for food all the way to the veracity of His filiation. However, Christ gave us the example of how to act in the moment of temptation and that is how we should proceed. Don’t accept anything that distances you from God.

Those who are saved are always assisted by the Holy Spirit, therefore, whenever you feel a temptation close by, immediately issue a command and rebuke the evil tempter. After that, believe that your command worked the deliverance and you can consider the temptation as something that is gone and was undone in the Name of Jesus. However, there will always be enough time for the enemy come back to bother you. Thus, be vigilant and pray.

When you feel evil in any situation, in a friendship or in a desire that springs in your heart, you should say “No”. Those who don’t avoid the evil path will suffer the consequences. It’s up to you to resist that which has an evil intent. If there is any falsehood of your part or the other person, you might end up in a sinful relationship. God’s order is for us to be holy, because He is holy (1 Peter 1:16).

Those who do not stay away from the evil ways will not be able to observe the revelation of the message that was sent by the Lord. One word is enough for you to be delivered and become fulfilled. However, if there is evil in your heart, like the deceitfulness of riches, the cares of this world, and the desires for other things (Mark 4:19), you will not be able to see the goodness and the beauty that God is revealing to you, and your loss will be great. Be careful!

We are called to participate in the divine glory, and not use it to better our life, have a lot of money of find satisfaction in prostitution. God’s world is complete, perfect and always fulfills all our basic needs; therefore, we don’t need anything that the devil says or shows us. In the Heavenly Father, there is much more for those who are saved than they actually need. Make a decision now to live only by faith.

Those who are living in sin, even if it’s in secret, cannot observe what the Lord says in His Word. These people will live like the animals, which do not enjoy the things that fascinate us. Those who cannot see the marvelous wonders of the Almighty, obtain what belongs to them in Christ and do His will that will lead to good things in eternity, certainly have a sad life.

In Christ, with love,

Lord! You are whole in everything, including what is written in Your Word, which is the Truth. The world has corrupted us and, instead of looking at Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we have seen “Bathsheba” without any judgment.

Why do we look at the forbidden fruit and focus our attention on things of the enemy, if they distance us from You? We want to live close to You and contemplate Your beauty. May we constantly seek Your will. We desire to love You!

Look at those who did not understand what it means to serve You and find themselves away from Your plans. May they have the courage to confess their sins and return to their spouses, abandoning sin that separates them from You. Help them!
