04/06/2015 - GOD’S SUPPORT IN ZAREPHATH

“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 1 Kings 17:9

God’s call is not something random, but an act of Someone who knows how to plan everything. The Lord takes His decision because He loves us and created us for a purpose. He never forgets those he called, because He is perfect in all He does. Those who resist and despise the mission given to them, make the worst decision. However, those who are wise obey Him.

Nobody should worry with what they will eat, wear or any other need (Mathew 6.25,26). By telling someone about His work, the Highest already provided everything that is needed, so that person should not worry about tomorrow. Those who trust in the Lord and obey the Father will realize that everything has been prepared for them and they will fulfill their part as well so that they may see their needs supplied in abundance. 

It doesn’t matter what your need is; the Lord does not forget His obligations. The servants only need to learn from the birds and the lilies on the field; that way, they will see that all that is needed will be supplied with great blessings. There are many things that changes with time, except the Lord (Ml 3.6). Because of that, do not fear in obeying God’s call to preach the gospel. God is on the side of those who obey Him.

There is nothing more rewarding than obeying the Highest and going where He directs. Whoever does it will feel God’s hand operating in his/her life. For those who are called there will be nothing missing, for that is what the Father does with who He calls and sends. Those who keep the faith discover that He goes ahead opening doors, that way, they will not stumble. His servants will surely be rewarded.

With this truth, do not hesitate or search for better things other than doing the divine will. While inhabiting in the land He created, you will find out that He prepared everything. If you walk with Jesus, you will never fall in the traps of the enemy. Those who walk by faith in Jesus happily know that it’s worth obeying.

Your support will not be found in any random place, but in the land where you were called to be. God operates, beforehand, to supply our needs; we just need to obey Him to notice that He is faithful in His promises. Also, those who are faithful discover that there is nothing better than being a part of the divine plan. So be wherever God called you to be.
