Thus says the LORD: "The people who survived the sword Found grace in the wilderness— Israel, when I went to give him rest." Jeremiah 31:2

The moment we live deserves great attention because with the spreading of the Word of God, the devil will sow chaff with the good seed, and thus the trials will come. These things happen for various reasons and one of them is to oppose the divine plan. The saved must be careful and watchful for everything that the devil does to frustrate or thwart the salvation of the lost. Any scandal will take many people to eternal suffering.

Israel escaped the sword  because they found grace in the wilderness. We must know how to discern the difference between God’s work and temptation. Often times, God allows the devil’s temptation as he did with Jesus, but we can’t permit ourselves to be drawn to the devil’s suggestion. To be tempted does not make a sinner of any one but to accept the temptation does. Whether the temptation is physical, emotional or spiritual we will only find grace in the Almighty.

The History of God’s people is full of highs and lows. The people of Israel suffered greatly for not having feared the Word of God. However, when they returned to the Lord, they found unimaginable grace where there was none expected. Likewise, today do not be taken by the enemies’ lies, but in all circumstances and situations trust the fact that the Almighty will intercede for you, delivering you from any trial.

It is a time to rest, because it is not by violence nor by force, but by the Holy Spirit that we must do the divine word. If we are in communion with the Father, we will not be touched nor harmed by the darts and arrows of the devil. As long as God is directing our steps, why try to understand what happens during the journey? The Lord knows how to protect from trials and temptations all those who believe, receive and trust in His word. He is faithful!

In times past, because the war was physical, people killed and died; today the battles are spiritual. Everything that occurred in those days was a symbol of what happens in the spiritual realm. But we have nothing to fear. Even though everything appears against the people of God there is an escape route: defeat the plans of the devil. How? By using the Name of Jesus to arrest and imprison the principalities of Hell that wage battles and war against the saved and the Church.

Onward, Church! Your place has been prepared. Do not wage war against flesh or blood nor be involved with the things of this world. God, your Lord, promises to go before you and to open doors. Your victory has been won by the sacrifice and death of Jesus; therefore don’t accept the least suggestion to lose any battle! Stand up on your feet and win by Faith. Why flee from the pressures and not allow the All Mighty his duly rightful place in your life?

What God said will always be. Keep alert to hear His voice through the word and when you least expect it, the trumpet sound will lead you to use your authority and all evil will be undone. The Almighty trusts that His people will not disappoint Him. After all, He did provide His people with all of their needs until the full Day of Victory.
